So on the 28th of November I purchased from sheldonskis a 9.5/10 condition Jiberish XL Eggplant Fruits and Orbs, I gave him my phone # so he could send me pictures via text message. (here's his phone # 518-821-7526 and his PayPal address mwbird@gmail.com) He sent me the pictures and we agreed on the price of 130 USD $, I sent him the money on the same day and asked him to try to ship it on the next day wich was a Tuesday. Still on November 28th , he confirmed me he received my payment and said he was going to try to send it on the next day as I asked.
But damnit, I made one big mistake! The kid has good karma and only good feedbacks from well known member of this community. Because I'm sometimes too generous, I've sent him the money via PayPal but as a gift so he could end up with more money in his pockets beacause he had to pay shipping to Canada...
What a bad mistake I did. Last time I heard about him was on December 2nd, when I asked him if he had the chance to ship my FAO and he answered me:

Since then, nothing!!!! I've sent him multiple text message and 5 pm that are still unread, it's now been 18 days since he received my payment, 14 days since he answered me something and still haven't confirmed that my piece was shipped.
This is the message that I've sent him like 4 times and that he still haven't read one of them even if he's loggin in everyday:

I haven't sent you 130$ as a gift just for a gift, it was to save you fees so you would end with more money in your pockets, I hope understand me on this point.

so please tell me that you've already sent it, and I wont bother you anymore.. I think it is kind of normal for me to be wondering what's been happening with my order.

he has some feedback from trusted members that is positve, and he lives in canada. Try and give it a little more time. best of luck to you
 
I live in Canada, He lives in the states as this is written in his profile...If he'd be any kind of a legit, seller he would of not ignored me for 14 days now
 
If he shipped right away and that's a big IF around this website... it probably wouldn't have arrived yet anyway. I'm in Canada as well and the cross border shipping right now is absolutely terrible. Cyber Monday made already delayed post office times, add that on top of the holiday season with all the gift buying and sending, wait times are pretty long right now.I had to wait over 3 weeks for a couple of things I ordered off of ebay that only came recently and I ordered them waaay back in November.

It's definitely NOT an excuse for him to cut all contact with you, but if he did ship it I'm thinking it won't be to your place for another week at least. I'm just giving him the benefit of the doubt here, but by all means it's definitely sketchy that he hasn't been in contact with you.

yo i think you will get your stuff, i also did business with him and he doesnt read pm's or respond that much, hes legit, just lazy. i met up with him and he got my stuff to me, so he is legit. i wouldn't worry too much.
 
yea I know he has been legit before.. but dayummm he's able to pm others that are asking him questions about is threads and he update is threads so.. he said he was going to tell me as soon as he shipped my piece, wich he still didn't and he's been ignoring my text message and my pm's so what is the problem with this dude??? if he had already shipped it how come he just didn't told me??? so for now, I got the feeling that this kid scammed me and I hope that a mod will take this under control and try to talk to him and say ton this young bitch that if he sell stuff here in this community, he can't be fuckin lazy for 18 days when it tooked me not even an hour to send him the payment!! anddddd that he can't ignore people like this!!!
 
dont worry i doubt he's scamming you. i bought some goggles from him about two weeks ago and there was like a 4 day period that he didnt pm me back but then the goggles showed up. just give him some more time
 
No, it means that NS can't do anything about it. NS members might, but NS itself is in no way responsible or liable for any type of transaction made on this site. I never ever send a paypal payment as a gift, that's your huge mistake. It doesn't matter that you're saving him a couple bucks, you're losing all of it if you end up getting scammed.
 
yea thanks easy.steezy for the advice, I for sure learned on this one, I'll never ever send money as a gift again... just hope sheldon will answer me one day, thanks to all you guys who have helped me yet!!!
 
Yeah no problem man, we're all here to help each other, but there are always preventative steps that you should take to prevent getting scammed. Good luck in the future!
