I hate having to do this, but it's ridiculous.

I sold this cat some bindings (FKS155s) earlier this year, well all of a sudden, quite a time after that, I get a paypal email saying there is a chargeback notice..."WTF is that?" I say.

Come to find out he (or someome) has told his credit card company that charge was never authorized, so paypal debits me for his screw up, and basically freezes my account. I'm negative $185 in my paypal, and he won't respond to emails of PMs.

He told me he must've used the wrong account cause he was...impaired (said he used the account tied to his Mom's card) and that he would get it sorted out. Haven't heard jack from him, and he's been on since that. Essentially, he stole FKS155s (or the money) from me. And I'm not ok with that.

I want to get ahold of him, cause he assured me this would be worked out, or he would pay me again to set things straight, or really, just pay me now.

I would appreciate his phone number if anyone knows him personally. I need to get this sorted, particularly since I got laid off and don't have the time or extra money to be dealing with this right now.

I have our full message history saved also, but yeah...help NS?

i love logging on at 7:30am and seeing two new callouts already today. what the fuck is wrong with newschoolers now? does anyone else remember when this shit almost never happened?

that really sucks though dude, i hope you're able to get everything sorted out.
 
personnal check FTW. this situation sorta reminds me of the guy who tried to cash the check like 4 months later after it wasnt canceled. hopefully you can get your 185 back homie
 
paypal didnt let you have any say in this? They didnt let you argue the claim or file something against him? If not, Paypal can suck a big one! I hope you get your money back, I saw you have basically a fire sale going b/c your layoff and its good shit. I hate little pricks who do this shit.
 
I did argue it...haven't heard anything yet...hopefully they'll come back and it'll be ok, but I'm out the money until then anyway, and who knows how long that'll take.
 
Try pming the member Pippin to see. From his feedback it looks like they know each other.Or member Malcolm he also posted on it.His profile picture is that dumb card but there is a name that says Rick Roll.... Maybe thats a lead... IDK tryin to help ya out because I hate this stuff.
 
Why does it remind you of the guy who accidently deposited that check into his account?

by 'that guy' do you mean you? and yes, it "sorta" reminds me of your situation beacuse it is unique and unlike most problems that happen in BST, its not your average cuttthroatish just straight up stealin shit crap. dont take it personal personal dude, im glad you did the right thing and helped the guy out and hopefully this guy will do the same

Alright I've been putting this off for a while, and I think I should come clean.

What I told you about mixing up my paypal accounts is true.

I don't have an excuse for my bullshit behavior. I'm going to get the money to you and then some for your trouble and all the time I wasted, by the end of the week.

I'm proving my identity to paypal in regards to the account my mothers credit card was associated with (gaudettim@hotmail.com) tomorrow which should lift the restrictions on your account, I'll pay you through timgaudet@live.com tonight and hopefully you can still receive money despite the restrictions.

sorry for fucking with you, I don't really expect forgiveness on this one.
 
Tim as genuine nice guy as you could know...not sure what happened, sure he'll do his best to get this sorted out.
 
Wow..this kinda came out of nowhere...

I'm pretty floored when someone does this sort of thing, because the number of people out there who will rip you off is huge, the number of honest ones who will make it right, especially if it means going out of the way, and making effort, is small.

Tim is one of the latter group.

I just checked my paypal and he sent enough to cover the damages from this whole situation and still leave me a little extra.

This man is amazing. I will now vouch for his character.

This issue is now closed, hopefully I'll get a message from paypal soon that says all is well, but other than that, I'm more than satisfied. Even if it did take a bit of time.
