Claiming you sent someone something they paid you for, then being unable to produce proof equates to stealing. You appear to be confusing a 'hate bandwagon' with 'reality'. Building up good feedback for a while, then ripping a bunch of people off is pretty much scamming 101 on these forums, it happens all the time. I guess until it happens to you, you'll rely on feedback posts, instead of the dude's actual behavior when he's ripping someone off, definitely not sketch at all.

I'd think this warrents hunting down that reciept, even if it's in a "tall stack." I'm not the most meticulous book keeper either, but come on. But then again, I'd also take back a pair of pants if a buyer wasn't happy with them, too.

according to Gooner he provided a good amount of pictures of the G-Suit pants (damage included) to the customer via text message and the jackass still wanted to buy them for $200 solely for the purpose of flipping them. in my book that's completely the purchasers fault

and he did provide proof that he shipped the second pair of saga pants. things get lost in the mail on the time, i've done a multitude of deals here on NS and that's happened to me as well.
 
Get your shit straight before commenting, I conceded I fucked that up. My issue with Gooner is that we had an agreement to return them, which he said he was good with, and when the time came to do it he backed out and started acting like an overgrown 10 yr old.

unless you sent the pants back to him and he held on to them without returning you cash then he's at no fault whatsoever. it's YOUR fault for buying pants that weren't in good condition; like i said before he has no obligations to issue you any kind of refund. you admitted you "fucked up" so i really don't see how it's his issue at all.

guess you'll think twice or ask for a couple more pictures next time before you buy something used off Newschoolers. simple as that.

i've done multiple transactions goonerville (one in the past 2 months) and have never had a problem. he's never lied to me or to you, so why are you calling me a fuck?

he did message the OP of this thread a copy of the shipping receipt. and guess what? things get lost in the mail allllll the time. it's a fact of life. eventually it will show back up at either: a) gooners house or b) the OP's house. simple as that. it just takes time.

 
he never sent me a copy of the receipt i don't think. I have all of the texts on my phone in front of me. I understand they may gotten lost in the mail, but he said he would refund me, and then he just stopped responding, so I didn't know what to think.
A response was all i really wanted, and the pants or 100 dollars of course.
 
Gooner, i know you've been watching this thread; is this a possibility?

just refund him the money for the time being, and eventually the pants will show up at either your house or his. if he gets the pants then you get your cash back, if you get the pants then you're even.

seems like the simplest way to squash this whole thing IMO.
 
Because when people back out of a trade or sale that hasn't happened yet, there is no responsibility because there is no transfer of money. Once someone else has your money, it becomes a whole lot different. He agreed to a plan that was so beneficial to him, I was gonna give him all the time he needed to get the cash to refund, I'd pay shipping. This is all in callout 1, if you would look over those correspondences you would clearly see where the responsibilty lies and why i along with others on the "bandwagon" are so pissed off with this kid.

you are in the wrong, Gooner is in a moral grey area which certainly isn't "right" per-say, but i definitely wouldn't say he's doing anything wrong by getting some sense in his head and backing out of giving you your money back. i would do the exact same thing if i were in his shoes.

the OP clearly stated he has no records of the receipt, so how about Gooner posts a copy of the reciept on here...shouldnt be too hard for a seasoned NSer like him...pretty easy to do

and actually I feel pretty fucking good about the fact that those pants are in my closet-I feel good about being a good person and doing someone else a favor and ensuring that eastcoastskiier has a good pair of pants for a season

so as far as that goes, everyone from callout one feels good: ME, Eastcoast, and maybe gooner because hes got his stolen money (but hopefully he feels bad deep down because hes a little fuck and he knows it

Goonerville11 has done many a deal on here and hasn't had that many problems. Stuff does get lost in the mail quite a bit, and if he legitimately showed a receipt its proof that it did get lost. Granted that sucks for the OP and truthfully in this situation a good seller would refund the money till the pants showed up somewhere. be the better person and just do that Gooner.

Secondly on the top of you being scammed, you bought trashed up pants at an outrageous price. He showed you pictures and "Professionally sewed by my mom" usually 90% of the time does not end well. You sent the money, you knew the risks about buying. You should have asked for pictures for after his mommy sewed it or more detailed pictures. It might be a bit scummy selling you pants like that but he did, as is. This isn't some sort of store that you can always return what you buy. Its like a clearance sale and it depends on the person if they want to refund you.

Goonerville, just pay the kid the 100 dollars, it would end this shit. and Eastcoastskier, don't blame gooner for all your problems, its just how BST is.
 
First off, you and Spence keep going on an on about this receipt that Gooner showed OP even though he has said 3 times that he has never seen the receipt. Stop taking Gooner at his word and accept the fact that although he was once a standup member, something happened in his life where he decided he needed some extra money, and he didn't have time to go about getting it honestly, so he would use his rep on NSers to scam a couple of kids and hopefully just write it off with different excuses, so that he didnt completely ruin his rep

Now I admit that EastCoast was stupid for offering 200 dollars for the gpants. THey are now in my possession and are definitely beat to shit. But Gooner went about selling them in a very scummy way. When they arrived and EC was unhappy with them, an agreement was made about a return, that Gooner backed out on a couple weeks or so down the road. It is all in callout 1 and more - including details of gooner being at outright prick.

Please read the whole story, and not just the first 5 lines of his feedback before providing an opinion

Just to jump in here, just read all these post and the OP has never once 100% confirmed that he never saw the receipt. It was always "I don't remember" or "I don't think", never an outright i have never seen it. Which in my books loses credibility on OPs part.

Either way the suggestion of refunding they money until the package shows up somewhere is easily the best option.

If gooner wanted to post a pic of the receipt on here so that everyone following believes him that it was sent, and check tracking as that should have been added, we'll know where it ends up so no further callouts can occur from this same situation.
 
He didn't have to refund anything, eastcoast got pictures that he asked for, and offered the money he did, it happens but in no way does that justify getting your money back. Some sellers will, many will not. Think about it, its a hassle. You sold something so you could get money you needed, usually you use said money when you get it. Then you worry about shipping back and all that crapola, not alot of people take the time to do all that.

Back to the OP, he never fully denied seeing the receipt as someone else has previously stated in this thread. Always vaguely talking about it. Everyone keeps siding with the buyer instead of the seller who might've been screwed himself by the postal service. Regardless of this, a really good seller would refund the money till things get worked out, but not everyone can financially do that.

Granted he might be an outright prick sometimes. Alot of people are. That doesn't mean he is a bad seller. Yes the bad temper might within itself might drive people away from buying from him, and if you don't like it, don't buy from him.

 
If you sell something for 100 dollars wouldn't it make sense to get the 80 cent delivery confirmation to avoid all of this... Goonerville said he shipped priority and the confirmation is usually included with priority shipping. He's a dumb fuck if you didn't get delivery confirmation, and I doubt he did.
 
by saying i don't remember seeing a receipt, i meant that i never saw a receipt. But he's claiming that he showed it so that's why i said it like that. Sorry that my wording was not crystal clear.
 
not to be a total buzzkill here or anything, I bought a lense from goonerville about 2 months ago and he was mad legit, good communication and shipped quickly, even hooked me up with a few free ski bands. just sayin.
