yeah its a good movie, with great editing. BUT he totally jacked the whole idea about the insane asylum intro from a snowboarding movie where the same exact thing happens. it was released in the 01-02 season.

huh? thats not a concept for a movie. i mean wicked is prolly my favorite ski movie but i found it to be not cool when a bunch of my snowboard friends started saying "this is the same thing as wicked, he copied that so bad" and i couldnt even argue with them.

dude who cares. DO you know how many freakin snoboard movies have been released? Jesus christ the number is so high. Its very hard to come up with new ideas and in my mind Neil was still very original in the movie no matter what. You have to realize almsot EVERY movie peopel say somethin like that about copyin something because there are just so many fuckin movies out there already. I don't think Neil would copy anyone like that and im sure it wasnt "Exactly" the same as your "snowboard friends" said.

I haven't seen wicked yet, but I believe the movie you are referring to is from strait jacket films' "unleashed."

By the same rational you could say Heine's "Unleashed" was ripping off "one flew over the cuckoos nest" and that wicked was ripping off "Shawshank redemption" But neither of them were doing that.

I haven't seen the snowboard movie you're talking about, but wait - wicked starts out in an abandoned prison. Maybe there are ties between the prison and the fact that a lot of the movie is about skiers on the east coast that rip being "trapped" there, and mostly ignored compared to the west coast? Hello, the keys throughout the movie, the last segment's song is "this place is a prison" (although there's other reasons for that).

i liked the intro to wicked its sweet but im not a fan of the HARDcore shit i liked heed's liam's and alex balsens part oh ya and that kiesel kid hes got mad switch tricks

wicked was a weak ass movie and i couldnt get into it. the 360 nose butters where the only thing that got me riled up.

similar or not, and whether you liked wicked or not, it doesn't really matter. But who are you to accuse someone of "totally jacking" something? It's one thing to say "did anyone notice that the intros of unleashed and wicked are kinda similar", it's another thing to accuse neil of ripping off a snowboard movie.
