Last Friday I decided to paypal him $300 for his reno jibs and fks155's. we're both from jersey and i said id rather meet in person but he said he could ship them for free since he works at some sort of business and has a ups account which costs him next to nothing to ship, so i agreed (instead of driving an hour or to meet half way with him)
at first, he was texting me nonstop, making sure that the skis were sold i guess. february 3rd, 2:16pm he said he received payment and my skis would be in the mail within the hour. i asked him on the 4th what company he used and it wasnt until the 7th that he said i used ups and he said he'd get me the tracking number that night, but never did.
after 4pm that day, i never got a response after hitting him up several times, text and call, until feb 10th. he said...the box just came back return to sender today. can you confirm your address? i did...then asked if we could just meet in person. he said we could probably meet up tomorrow night, meaning the 11th. i gave him a hard time because he wasn't responding and he said ill refund you the money tomorrow. it is now the 12th. and I am down $300 with no skis in my hands.
 
we're from the same state. it shouldnt take a week. and chill? its three hundred bucks im not trying to lose. the longer you wait to call out a scam, the harder it is to get your money back. ...if you've ever been there before.
 
i've been there before and it was 3 months before i got my shit. some people are just a little lazy, but it's no reason to flip. so yes chill
