Calling NZ wannabe vishnu owners

Heres the thing:

I'm gonna buy some new wets in presale this year bc my current ones are falling apart after years of being thrashed, but the new topsheets are too sexy to decide between so I want one of the vincents and one of the broken glass

So, if someone else from NZ wants to do the same, we can each buy a pair and swap a ski. Cos for real is this not the hottest pair of skis youve ever seen?

You could also talk to Emmett and see if you couldn't also do this swap in America come shipping time.

Yeah I tried that. He said it would fuck up the inventory long term and that I have to just find a mate to swap a ski with. None of my mates are keen for Vs though so I’m resorting to Newschoolers

I'm shocked more people aren't stoked on the river graphic, it is obviously the wettest and therefore superior

Is the top sheet on the left sheet based on a van gogh painting?

Sure is. Very very very cool. But the Cal pro model is the toughest, hardest, most thug gangsta graphic in history and therefore I think I’m legally obliged to have one of each

In case anyone's wondering, (I know they aren't.), the painting is the imaginatively named "field of wheat with crow's" by Vincent van gogh, possibly one of last paintings he produced in July 1890. I'm not an overly large fan of Vishnu, but I think the use of the painting on the top sheet is a really original and cool idea, and one of the best topsheets I've ever seen. Kudos to Vishnu for keeping the legacy of Van Gogh alive in the ski world. (Apologies for the boring art-fan post.)

Are they allowed to use it because he’s been dead for so long that copyright/trademark/whatever doesn’t apply?

Nice art trivia. However it’s actually called ‘Wheatfield with Crows’

Those colors look gross together. How Tf u match that with a fit?

If your skis perfectly match your fit and bindings and boots and gloves and socks and underwear and everything else you need to think about enjoying skiing more then you think about what you look like

The post was specifically about topsheet graphics. So voicing an opinion about aesthetics and colors is pretty on thread. Uh yeah durr it’s about skiing, never said it would be the end of the world.

the problem with this is that if he does do it he will have everyone hitting him up for mismatched skis.
