I love when people gate keep park skiing. Less park skiers = shittier/no park at all

Simple logic, let people enjoy the sport and maybe you’ll see more terrain parks around.

Backed your friend up but he's gotta know if he's going to dress big and bad that's what people are expecting. After I broke my leg and took 2 years off skiing I took it easy my first day back. I would have felt like an asshole wearing my G-Suit as I relearned everything.

Yes, this is exactly what I'm trying to say. What you wear reflects who you are. Both your comments are naturally based on that idea as it's how people identify.

Which is why when someone wears something that doesn't reflect them they might catch some flack.

Point taken! My hypothesis is that people really struggle with feeling ownership of things and then subsequently feel threatened when others discover it.

For example, how many times have you heard (or said) ‘I’ve been listening to [insert band or artist you like] for ten years and now all of a sudden people won’t shut up about them?!’

or one of a million other scenarios. Just gotta maintain perspective. If people wanna wear crap jackets it really doesn’t affect me

Well I am not throwing down on jumps as hard as I was in 2011 but I still learn a couple new tricks each year. Last year was blindswap to switch in both directions and switch lip to superfed, so I’m still hyped to be jammin park laps and hiking rails with the crew (all in baggy XL saga, LD and Fasc)

Nice! I love hearing that. I’m probably never gonna be as good of a park skier as I was a decade ago but I am enjoying similar progression on my bike and after ten years riding can definitely say I’m better than ever and hope that trend continues
