Are there any mc's/rappers out there? I've dedicated the last year and a half to put together some tight new tracks. I thought it would be pretty sweet to collaberate with someone out on ns. Maybe send some audio back and fourth and come up with something? Or even play around with some freestyle battles.

All you'd need is a mic.

I've got beats you can work with, hell I even have pages of lyrics, but the hardest part for me has been the actual vocals.

If anyone is interested in collaborating or just messing around with some battles let me know.

yeah the few i listened to didnt really sound like beats you could rap to, i think you need to simplify them and make them more, they also change too often, repetition is a pretty key part of most good beats

Right now, the songs are in a raw state. It's just to give an idea on the style I'm working on. As you come up with vocals, you always can go back and fix the song so it works together.

Also, the beats stay pretty simple. Although for these clips I do have long intros. The intros jump around and change a little. During that time you probably wouldn't put lyrics on it anyhow.

ghostdragon, granted your a god, i dont much like your beats. theyre like generic or something. git rid of the synthiziser(sp?) crap and upload some clips from real instruments playing.

but just because a few white kids can rap to the beats, it doesnt really mean that they are good, post some songs with rapping to the beats and then well decide how good they are

I'll agree. I'm not a big fun of most of the white rappers, but there are a few good ones out there.

Like my boys art of fact and then there's the streets, ak mc's, atmosphere (pretty sure he's caucasian), and a few others.

and anyhow, thanks for the comments. The beats still need alot of work. but also, that's kind of why I started this thread in the first place.

To see if anyone wanted to work on it together. I also have a few slots for studio time, so if someone is serious about it... we can get some things done.

I'll try and set this straight... I'm white. I realize this. I don't like my vocals much, which is one of the main reasons why I've stuck primarily to beats and writing lyrics. Also, it's fine if you don't like white rappers. It's preference. But to say all white rappers suck is completely close-minded and ignorant. There are many mc's out there, regardless of their white skin who have talent above and beyond the rest.

If you look into music you will see that there are numerous white mc's who have greatly impacted and influenced the hip hop genre. Mad child and Rob the viking (dj) from swollen members are both white. But maybe they should've quit a long time ago.. I mean.. they are white.

Lineskier10, what brings you to the conclusion that we are ''just a bunch of white kids''?. I'm probably the whitest out of all the people I work with.

I thought it'd be fun to do some contests over the internet. Some people need to loosen up. Even if we sounded like complete fools, at least it could be entertaining in the process. But it's not just limited to that. If someone was genuinely interested, they may be able to jump in on some studio time with us.

Don't judge the music from a few small recent projects I've been doing. I simply wanted to give other people an idea on what I have been working with.
