heres the deal. my buddy and i want to get mount snow season passes and ski mount snow every weekend possible this season. the problem? i just got dropped from car insurance and he doesnt have a car. so idea is: we get together a crew of all of us and just drive up every weekend. split up gas, its only like a 3.5 hour drive i believe? or maybe if the crew is huge enough rent a bus? i dunno, lots of thoughts running through my head. but basically, lets make this happen. Im thinkin theres kids (like us) that moved further away from skiing to be in NYC for college and fVck that, were still gonna ski. alot. at the best park on the east coast

also, im a mount snow college rep so i get our passes real cheap. even if you dont wanna do this, but still plan on going to mount snow, hit me up if u want a pass

well heres the thing, we were gonna (before i got dropped from car insurance) leave a car at my buddys house in westport ct, and then take the metro north to there and go from there.

where in ct are you?

Yo Bra

I hit VT a bunch wit my crew. Were all big ski bums from round NYC. We got a big ass van sweet stuff. We jam the crew in the van and we hit up VT. We also do mad urban round NYC. If u wana chill and hit some of the urban rails wit the crew that be strait, if you like to throw down.

im from Monson, ma thats western ma right above Stafford CT and il be going every weekend and couple days a week if people wana car pool and shit like that im down i can drive or be driven

brooklyn guy here - how much for said pass? i have an epic pass and 4 or 5 planned trips to vail and breck but i doubt thatll be enough, weekend trips would be the shit but yea i dont have a license either, plus im 25 if that matters - damn average age of this website - oh well, lemme know price, as well as said van^^ takes off from

Ya dude I go to Fairfield university, right by westport. The ski club here is gonna have busses going up on some weekends, if your sly enough you may be able to weasle your way onto the bus. Maybe lose the tall ts for the ride, catholic college.

sorry went away for the weekend, actually biked from nyc to westport

anyways, another thing i was thinking is we could split the cost of a trailer and that would cover transportation and lodging, but elliot says im just talking crazy at this point

anyone within 30 minutes of mount snow wanna put up some newschoolers on weekends this season?

How cheap? I just got my college student season pass yesterday and it was dirtt cheap. Like 3 or 4 hundo less than a regular.

i'm in RI for school but i live in Trumbull CT. and i'de go home some weekends. I'de be down to go, but i most likely can't drive, but if you get me a season pass to snow i'll happily throw down gas money.

Lets work this out, it sounds dope

I'm in colchester CT, I got the college pass too, plan on going every weekend. I'm down to carpool. I also am interested in staying the weekend up there so if anyones down in splitting rooms sometime let me know

yeahhh newschoolers always comes through. lets make this happen

biggest thing now is finding lodging. if we dont come through with someone who has a house/apartment, whats the shittiest (cheapest) motel near mount snow?

jeaaaa older nyc/nj freeskierssss
hit me up if u ever wanna get on that bus trip too, i think it meets somewhere in the city and is like 85 bucks including bus and ticket for day trips, ill look it up later

ohhhhhhh forgot to mention

I have friends with a house 10 minutes from the mountain I will most likely be staying there at least a couple tiems this winter. Hit me up if you're interested there is tons of room to sleep.

idk how old you guys are but im 20 and from pawling ny or near white planes ny when im at school im down for any weekend some one should make a cult for all of us to stay in touch or watever

sounds like theres no problem with gettin people who wanna carpool, now its a matter of finding somewhere to stay

Queens guy here. I live in Astoria and regularly ski at Mountain Creek, but I wouldn't mind a way to get to Mount Snow. I got a car and try to go 2 or 3 times a week during the season. I got my own crew at creek, but what's better than one crew? Two!

Make a cult and invite us all homie.

Southeast PA here, when I go it's often solo and I drive right through northern Jersey(78-287) all the way up NY thruway (87) past albany (around lake george)and then east into VT. Anywhere along that route I could provide a ride for a person or 3, plenty of room in the back for gear.

I could throw a rock to emmaus........almost. SHANGYS!!!!!!!!!!

I live just off the road up to bear creek from 100. I can see the lights on bear creek from my house.

this is a great thread. im from CT.. fairfield county, right outside of NY and im going to be driving, or getting driven to vt every single weekend, anyone that wants to give me a ride or get scooped up send me an email. neal9246@gmail.com must be 4/20 friendly because my car stays baked the fuck out on the way up and back

Join the cult!

I know theres more nsers out there, it's freaking new York city.

sorry for the shameless self bump, I'm sittig in a 3 hour legal framework lecture and it's boring as all hell. Gotta love ns on the iPhone

If I were you guys Id suggest looking at going to Big Boulder in PA. Great park and closer to NYC then Mt Snow. From the GWB Bug Boulder is an hour and 25 minutes.
