Are the avalanches really true...how bad are there to get to resorts in the Tahoe Basin

well for the last 2 weekends its been pretty impossible to ski...but for a good reason, its because in the last 2 weeks we've gotten like 14 ft of snow. its s'posed to snow heavy 2night and 2moro and then be sunny for like a week straight, and o the powder that will be skied, and kickers to be built, ya

think about it, 10 feet of snow and even more in spots, on top of old corny snow, is gonna make for some huge avalanches, and most of em are going 2 fracture all they way down to the old snow making for some epic slides

yea ill be out there the second week in february and i was just wondering how it really was for people that live there
