California Coast RV Trip

Anyone ever drive the coast of Cali. Flying out to Oregon in August with my wife and two young boys too do about a week and a half trip. Flying into Oregon driving a week and a half and then flying home from San Diego.

Any tips? Like parking places for Rv? Must see’s? I know all the obvious ones I think. Advice?

I got a truck camper 3 months ago and have taken a couple trips to the California Coast thus far. Laguna Seca raceway has RV sites that are inexpensive for the Monterey area. There was a amateur race the weekend I went and I was able to watch the races and go into the pit area to look at the cars. It was loud during the day but it was a cool and inexpensive trip. I have stayed in the Pismo Beach area too. I have heard that Harvest Host as some wineries that let you stay on their properties in Pass Robles. If you have any questions shoot me a message.

Actually did it 5 or 6 times when I was younger with my parents. From LA up to the Bay Area and Yosemite and back down. Along the coast unless dipping off to catch some other stuff. Went down to sandiego once or twice.

We didn't RV it so I'm not sure on those.

Yosemite was always one of my favorite stops. Santa cruz as well. Idk pretty bad at remembering places. Went to a few of the theme parks like magic mtn. Did Universal and Disney once.

Have fun on the trip! Should be a good one.
