Calibrated Broadcast monitor

I just did a FCP calibration (I think it was that) on my external when i had to do color correction. you dont really need to calibrate it for grading.

Calibrating your monitor or having a calibrated monitor is important for pretty much any sort of computer aided art.

To an extent.... you don't need a calibrated monitor to know what you're doing, only to see what you're doing.

For instance, I haven't calibrated my MBP screen because I know many people watching videos are on the same computer. And for precision I can use Color scopes, since you end up using them even on a calibrated monitor.
