so, who calls california cali? personally, i'm sick of hearing people call it that. my brother moved there last year and he says that no one calls the state cali. anyone else annoyed by this? is this a midwest thing or what? please let me know so i can tell my sorry midwest friends that california should not be called cali. or am i wrong? help a brutha out...

ive lived in california my whole life. the only time I call it cali is when I'm typing it, cause its easier. But its not even like i do it all the time. we dont really reference ourselves here in california, cause we instinctivly know that we are better than everyone else.
