Cal Poly SLO

I will be a freshman at Cal Poly in just over 20 days and I'm super stoked. Anyone go there? Advice? Also how's the ski scene?

they have a really good snowboard team....
at least they did when I was in college.
Now I have no idea, but as far as I know, there is still a team. Regardless there are a lot of skiers/snowboarders there and it is home of the central pacific ski and snowboard club which used to be the calpoly slo ski club till it got kicked off the campus for partying too hard. So you won't be missing people to head to the mountains with. Just prepair yourself for a lot of 6 hour road trips.

you have to become a member of cpsc and go on the "big trip." I went to cal poly pomona and our ski club would team up with cpsc and go on these big trips. Last year we went to whistler and it was so much fun. These trips really made my college experience spectacular - I made a bunch of new friends, got to ski in epic locations and partied my ass off. You would be missing out if you didn't join

Get ready for some incredible times. There is a great, yet small, group of skiers and snowboarders here who shred and have a great time. For the last 2 years i've been a part of CPSC and last year helped run the club, and it's definitely a great place to meet people, ski a good amount, and get the true college experience.
There's also a ski and snowboard team that goes up on and competes on the weekends but I don't know much about it and there are like zero skiers.
anyone who's going to poly this fall hit me up, always down to meet new skiers/people and show em around. Get stoked - It's going to be one of the best weeks of your life, guarantee it.
