honestly cannot believe some of the stuff you guys are saying in here. Innocent people (whether you agree with what they are protesting against or not) just got run over GTA style for no reason and you are making retarded jokes.
Regardless of who was driving that van, that was completely unnecessary the way they conducted themselves. Having traveled to Egypt 2 years ago, and I'm Canadian if anyone is wondering, all I can say is that I was only treated with respect from all the Egyptians I encountered.
Hopefully they can work this shit out with no more incidents like this.
 
I find it ironic how all this chaos going around Egypt has generated so much attention but it has been going around in plenty of African countries for many many years and people either ignore it or don't know about those shit storms.

You may have been treated with respect, but you did not visit when the entire country was going apeshit crazy. If you were to visit now, you would probably get flagged as an American, as Canadians and Americans don't look any different. If you were to ask yourself right now if it would be a good idea to go to egypt and so sight seeing, you would say no. As for that driver what he did was ridiculously awful, but if it was either that or get decapitated by angry rioters.....
 
Have you ever witnessed a disaster and just kinda laughed? some people cope in diffrent way, instead of letting a video l;ike this ruin their day, they keep a glass half full outlook and make a joke, shrug it off and keep livin their life. While I find it thouroughly shitty, just understand thats where the jokes most likly come from.

If you were there today do you think you would receive the same treatment? Ive never been in a mod but its safe to assume they arent very nice people. Imagine if you and your family were in a car full of people whos sole purpose is to cause damage to anything they touch, what would you do? ya i would probably let them smash my car and kill the people i love too. try and put yourself in the people in the vans shoes before you go hatin, i totally see why someone would feel the need to do that, and resect thm for maning up to protect whoever else was with them.

 
Plus the fact that you were born on some random country's soil that we as humans have arbitrarily drawn some invisible lines on doesn't automatically give you yourself a reason to fight for it in war as a patriot.
 
my main thing is that I hate violence, I hate fighting, I hate war. I just can't physically harm another person, unless the need was really really really great. Plus I am afraid of/can't stand guns. So if someone stuck me in a warzone I would either A) be the first to die or B) Hide for the War Zone and Live

If a draft came into play for fighting in a country that has no relation to my own I would escape it, thus the egypt, iraq, etc.
