Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has been up to Cairngorm recently? What's the snow like?

I'm thinking of a trip up later this week, probably Thursday or Friday - if anyone wants to give me some pointers in the park, I'd appreciate it...

That was last saturday, parks really quite perfect currently. Snows awesome, still a ton of it, thought it'd be really icy but it's just perfect, think french alps. What sort of pointers are you looking for?
 
Yhe I've been having a good look through ebay to see if I can spot any rocks haha.

Pointers, just anything and everything really. I'm not exactly great, but want to improve. Think I'll probably spend most of both days just lapping the park.
 
Depending how good you are you may benefit from a lesson to improve your real skiing. Are you new to the park?
 
I'm not entirely new to park, I've done a bit here and there so understand the basics, and the last time I was away I could land (just) a 360. With a little bit of practice I can 50/50 boxes. Haven't managed rails without falling yet.

Normal skiing wise, I'm pretty happy with it all, can just about ski switch down a black run, switch is alright most other places. Forwards skiing isn't a problem.
