Cable Cam Shots

Here are some shots from my cable cam first day at the mtn with it. I used a bait cash fishing reel to control speed and get it back to me. Still needs some tweaking but defiantly something that will work well.

not bad. Add a little bit of weight to the bottom of the sled to steady it.

Good call il give it a shot. I want to get a 400 ft cable and really let er fly se whats possible.

nice work. I just tested mine out today. just off the roof of my house. I use a climbing rope with a few pulleys. never thought of using a reel to stop the camera at the end and getting it back. good idea

Dude, mad K for that. I love the idea of using the reel! Can you pm me some pictures of it and a list of what you used to build it? That would really help me because I was planning on making one but did not know what to use.

sickkk craig, they let you set that up? I have a photography friend who works as one of the gondola rescue guys and he was gunna see about putting up a treestand which would be so sick

yeah, did you have to get anything cleared to set that up or did you just go for it?

you should have seen the liftys faces when we rolled up and i had a spool of wire wrapped around me
