OK, so I always thought a cab 10 was a switch unnatural 1080, but yesterday I downloaded the X-games slopestyle finals and the speaker said that no pro could go above switch unnatural seven, and called all the final jumps switch 10s. But I remember I read some article on freeskier about the x-games and it said "everyone was throwing cab 10s". So, A cab 1080 is or is no a switch unnatural 10?

i thought numerous pros could do all four tens (meaning that they;d have to be able to do a cab unnatural 10).. and if not tens then defianetly all four nines.

all 4 ways are possible, many pros can do it...i have 10s in 3 ways and a sw unnatural 7 over baby jumps

why is this so confusing for so many people? cab is just switch. thats it. it soesnt matter how much your knees are bent or how corked you are. just go of of a jump backwards and spin and its cab.

well he's right, cab in snowboarding means switch FS or switch BS, i forget which one. but in skiing people say cab usuallly just meaning switch

we shouldnt use different names for different tricks, there are so many tricks it is confusing enough already. I think we should use cab for switch unnatural tricks, cau'se it is a much shorter name, sounds cooler, and it would be less confusing.

Im too lazy to read all this, but:

In snowboarding a cab spin is a switch frontside spin, and a switch spin is switch backside.

I guess in skiing terms, backside would be unnatural and fronside would be natural.

So a cab 1080 on skis would be switch natty, and switch 1080 would be switch unnatty - unfortunatley noone uses these terms in ski magazines and just throws the words around be the trick natty or unnatty. Basically unless they say its unnatty it isnt.
