C-rail

i'm thinking of making a c-rail out of 4 inch pvc, I'm going to use a heat gun to heat the pvc up and try to curve it. Is that possible, and has anyone done something like this? the piece of pvc that i have is only 9 ft long, but that should be fine. Any suggestions for height, as well as how to put the supports in?

thad be sick man, you shouldsnt have to heat pvc, it should bend on its own, but for supports, usually upside down t shapes work best

nah, it's really thick, it won't bend on it's own, i tried it, but yeah the supports sound good

i've used the 4 inch by like 10ft pvc sections before and theyre very solid, but i only made a kink not a curved rail. Im not sure if the heating and bending thing will work reall well but if you have multiple pipes you can drill a hole on the ends and then bolt them together for an 8 inch wide box (cept really its only 4 because of the curve of the pipe) we did that for two sections and it worked out really well

u won't be able to bend 4 inch pvc pipes, u need like 4, 1 inch pipes all next to each other
