I agree. Thank you for the great thread. I can tell you put alot of time and effort into this, and I really think it shows.
One comment though about Greg Tuffelmire - I think it's completely unfair to call him washed up. He may not be on the progressive edge as some of these younger kids are, but he is still very active and contributing to freeskiing.
He single handedly has helped me love skiing. I got the chance to hang out and ride with him for a little while back. Ever since then he has been one of my inspirations. The reason why is because no matter what you hear about him, he skis for the right reason; because he loves it. He loves skiing for what it is and has a completely genuine passion for it. Also, he has been real inspiring to me because he wan never naturally good at skiing. He got where is is because he worked for it. He'd push himself, throw himself, or do whatever it takes to step things up. That in itself has showed me that if you want something bad enough, that you can get it - if you're willing to work for it.
And he may not be the best skier, but he has arrived at the level he is at because he worked for it and nothing else. For this alone, he has my respect.
