Hey, iv been reading the thread on underground hip hop, and i was wondering if u could right an article, about hip hop, cuz it seems like u have lots of knloig on this subject, and i realy enjoyed reading your post, and listing to hip hop... i listen to dead prez, cuz i like what he says, it makes me think, it seems true, and hes telling people what he thinks. Thats about all i know about hip hop. i know what i like and why i liked it, but id like to know a bit more about the background of hip hop.

Man I really can't help you out. Hip Hop for me is about truth and thats something that you need to discover for yourself. I could write an essay but frankly how will that help you?? My asthetics are probably different from yours, my life experiences. I think the most important thing for you to do is just understand what you think hip hop is. To some people its just music, to some people its truth, to others its a statement, I can't tell you what hip hop is for you
