please you kind folk, can you help me find a song? I posted this in media and arts but it is quite a sleepy forum compared to here so if you don't mind....

The first few notes of Billie Holiday by Warpaint reminded me of a song I love but can't remember where I heard it or who its by. A frustrating situation as I'm sure you'll agree.

Its literally the first four or five notes from the song (embedded) which sound like this other tune.

The song I'm thinking of is pretty recent, last couple of years I think, and is really upbeat and kind of dancy.

Anyway, thanks for reading and listening and I'll give da karmaz for anyone who gets it. And well, you might even enjoy this song anyway, plus I think it would be ok for an edit

Maybe? First chord/few notes are very similar, but either way its a good song

the one I'm thinking of is more upbeat and possibly an octave higher than the warpaint tune. It's really summery and bouncy, electronically produced but possibly with guitar as lead, its about 110 -120 bpm

I Wish I could give more info... the problem is I'm a visually oriented thinker and can't describe sound for shit... When I remember a song I see an image with the song playing in the background.... a bit like staring at the album cover while you listen to a cd.

So if it helps, the image I have in my head is taken at ground level and kind of looking up. It is of the sexy tanned legs of a girl in a yellow dress, standing in long lush green grass with an almost cloudless blue sky in the background and bright yellow and purple flowers in the foreground. she is standing slightly to the right of the centre of this mental image. It is not a photograph but looks like vector art, and is a very crisp job. I feel warm and want to drink cold beer at a festival. The girl could be my girlfriend, she is dancing without a care in the world and she has a beautiful smile. The image is the quiescence of summer fun, love and japes.
 
^ Dude thats cool haha. The first few notes reminded me of Country Roads remix, you mentioned part of it was electronic?

Probably not it but I tried haha
 
well we've not found the song yet but I like that a lot so sortofwinning!

Also the image is close to what I picture too, from a perspective point of view. just replace the road with grass (a little like the win XP background) and stick some sexy legs in there and blam
