Alright guys and girls i'm in the market for some twip tips. I'm relitively new to skiing but learning quickly ( grabs rails jumps w.e) I need to go with 170's and im looking at buying some used NORDICA SUPERCHAGER IGNITION skis with Marker bindings. What are you opinionon these skis and any other twin tips out there. My price limit is about $450 - $500 WITH BINDINGS! If you live in Ontario and are selling any thing used pm me! Also looking to buy new some shoot some names out for me!

what are you using them for? pow? park? or do you want an "all mountain" ski? or the "do it all" ski?

I have a pair of 164 armada el rays used only 4 times mounted once. Without bindings sell for 300. I live in orillia ON.

Uh i need them for pretty much everything pow and park. It depeds what mountain im at, ussually 60 park 40 pow.

Alright thx ill check them out!

***And when I said my price limit was 450 - 500 that was for new skis, not used***

How tall are you and what do you weigh?

Look into Bluehouse MRs. Mid fat one ski quiver, do it all ski. They have 171 and 179cm lengths.
http://bluehouseskis.com/node/7 I can't link for some reason... Copy and Paste.

. They are still on preseason sale for under $300. You can get some px12 bindings fairly cheap (just over $100) and they are pretty durable. (People have a love hate relationship with them but they usually last pretty well). Or Tyrolia Peak 15s pop up on tramdock every once in a while for $135 which is a steal.

line anthems are wide park skis, so they would fit the good pow and park category, i bought a pair but havnt been able to ride them yet, let there be winter!

just whatever you get, dont get the line invaders. they last about 1/2 a season in the east, suk in powder, dont land well, dont spin well, no butter zones. srry line but these skis stink.

dont dont get markers, un less your getting the jestors or even the jriffins, dont get the marker m11 havent herd good things about them, if thats your budit, keep an eye on trandock, always have good deal like axium12s and p12's for around 100 bucks

if your 6'4 your gonna want to get a ski 176 to 185

anthem, chronic, volkl bridge or wall, armada ar6. The anthem and wall are symetrical so will lack small amount of all mountain performance

good ski. I'm 6'3" 190 and ride the surface LL2 everyday.
the watchlife has a solid medium flex and is 100 in the waist (which means it'll float in most stuff)
good choice.

alright sick, I thinnk your talking about the 2010 Lifes tho, they're basically the same excpet for the dimensions, 2008 = 118/90/111

Im so stoked about these skis tho, all I need now are bindings and boots!

any suggestions ?

Price limit boot - $300 MAX>

Bindings - (12 Din) $150

lol ok, but ive decied on the Surface Watch Life skis, and the griffens are too much $$

thanks for the input tho!

if you're looking for an all mountain twin with park savy i would go with k2 public enemy from 2 years ago...a great everyday east coast all conditions ski

try getboards.com lots of neat little deals there, lots of the 08-09 stuff come with free bindings or really cheap (in price for the most part) bindings thrown in. just got 09 tnks and deadbolt 12s for under 500 bucks, all new stuff on the site.
