Hey, I was just wondering if you can still warranty skis bought on ebay. I'm thinking of getting a pair on there, but I won't if I can't replace them when they break.

Thanks.

Don't get them off of E-Bay because my friend bought a pair off of there and they never sent his skis and almost took his money.

i got a pair off of ebay, and its fine. just check the feedback, and try to get the goods from a store, not an individual.

Ebay can be a great place to buy just about anything. My brothers got their skis off of ebay. First of all, check the dealer's feedback. If it's mostly bad... forget about buying your skis from there... you dont want to get screwed. Especially a couple hundred dollars. But if you find ones that are nice and the person has good feedback, then bid on them... and if you win then email or contact the person who is sending them to you and negotiate the warranty thing. You can always not pay the person and back out of the deal if you dont want them anymore. Once you win the auction, it doesnt mean you HAVE to buy it. I would try out ebay though, it can have some really good, cheap stuff.

ebay is a great place to purchase skis - just be sensible. I picked up a pair of Volkl V-pros 180cm with s912ti bindings for £90 (about $50 US), hardly used - not bad.
