does anyone know of a good reliable site that I can order a rail from? trying to make a backyard setup any help would be good thanks
 
planet rails makes some sick ones, my mountain has a couple. they are probably expensive but they are good. you can also get liek a 1080 rail at walmart/target/sports authority, etc..... just look on their websites
 
if you want a sick rail get one off of

its a rollerblading site but they make rails from different heights and lengths but they are hella expensive just build one yourself out of pvc and some wood I have 3 rails and 2 boxes out of pvc and they are just as good
 
I was about to make this thread,amalls look good, are there any places that sell boxes that don't have to be custome ordered?
 
Yeah, my Bro and I build a sick backyard setup this Summer and my friend is actually coming over in a little bit to hit it with me. We build our rail with two pipes and wood all from home depot for like under 50 bucks and we built a platform 12 feet up in the trees to get speed. It is so sick.
 
There are always a bunch hanging around my local town transfer station in the metal section. Check there before buying anything!

 
dude, making rails is so much better. For $100 dollars, i am making two 10' flat rails with wood and PVC. its much cheaper, kinda fun, and you can build more stuff as you want. For that much money, you could pretty much go to a metal shop and get them to build you one completely custom. another thing about buying rails is that shipping will be sooooo much money. build yo self some jibs, save some cash, and spend it on hookers.
 
Do you have access to any tools or free/cheap materials?

A friend and I have maybe $50 into 3 rails. 1 PVC, 1 17' steel flat and 1 2 kink complimentary of the ski hill I work at.

Watch Traveling Circus ... I think its episode 3. They build some setups for free. Get some ideas there.
 
aight yo if u want a rail for ur backyard i would wait till the summer cuz straightlinerails.com is coming out with a backyard rail line summer 09 its gunna b tight bro
