Buying New Skis

Im just starting to ride in the park and I have no fuckin clue what are good rail skis. I've looked into buying a pair of line chronic skis but i've heard they're way to narrow to slide rails. I need some advice as to what skis to buy.

if your just starting to ride park, then it wont really matter which ski you get because you will have nothing to compare it to. so pretty much any ski out there is a good ski. but if your really looking at chronics, they come in a wide version which is a really good ski, for expert or begginer

well i don't know much either, but i know one thing people are gonna ask is your height, weight, and what type of skiing u plan to do

If your spinning rims spin counter-clockwise...you are not pimpin'. If you are dancin on the dancefloor and you look to Yo left and yo right and you do not see a woman in sight, guess what? you guessed it, you are not Pimpin

as for height, any ski that is within your face (chin up to the top of your head) somewhere in between there is fine,

as for wieght, it doesnt matter how much you wiegh, it matters what type of ski you buy. If your fat, no shit youre gonna have to buy a stiffer ski, and if your skinny, your gonna need a softer ski. Its all about how your body affects the flex of the ski.

and the only reason people ask "what type of skiing do you do most" is because they have certain brands that they say are "the best" for park/back country/all mtn...whatever, and because the type of skiing you do should affect how you mount your bindings.

if you ski all over the mtn, get a ski mounted at the recomended spot, maybe a little more forward. but if you ONLY ski park get them center mounted.

since youre just starting to ride park, i would get them mounted somewhere that you can still ski all over the mountain...tell that to your shop technician, and they will know what to do

yeh does anybody no when the line chronic 2005 modles are coming out?? yeh i've been skiing the rossignol fs skis and i didn't like the feel of them at all.

i think those are all pre orders...

"Email now to reserve yourself a pair as they will sell out fast!"

^im guessing u mean the 2006, new stuff in the ski industry comes out the year thats its winter (which is is 2006, about 10 days of winter is in 2005) those skis wont be for sale until the fall, but tell us how tall you are, your weight, and what u plan to ski, and we can hook u up

what's up now bitch

"the fatter you are the smaller you go"-unknown

def wanna get a ski that is stiff and is about 180-185 go with the 180 ar5s or the line invadors in the biggest size(around 180 im guessing) both of those skis should have good edges

thanks..... ill definitely look into buying those skis what is so good about the line invaders other than the edge?? and you would say to go with the 180's? wat width?

the 178 (i think, but whatever its around 180) invaders only come in one width

the dimensions are 112-83-112

o and whats so good about them...

completely symmetrical/center mounted, new graphics, and i think the bases are made from differnt/thicker stuff

and dare i say it, they dont de-lam?

Yeah i've just found out that the line invaders only come in 1 size which is 176 or 177 either size is good for me the width is round 83-86 which is not skinny. Im gonna go with them. Thanks Guys
