Buying new skis (need help)

I'm currently skiing a 171cm On3p, jeffery 110's. I'm 5'8, 16 years old, and 140 lbs. My goal for these skis is a smaller ski for spin tricks, butters, and moguls. I'm in between armada bdog 164cm, edollo 164cm, 1000 skis 161cm. Im open to more suggestions but those look the best for my purpose currently. Any recommendations?

The wets aonly go down to 171 so I dont think they will work for me

You don't need a shorter ski. I am your size and ski 180 Edollos in the park. you should at least buy the 172s. I think Armada has been pushing the BDog a lot because it wasn't as popular, and that's why it was on the whole team's feet last year.

Bdogs are softer overall and have considerable tail rocker. Edollos are a bit stiffer (still rather soft) but have a more supportive non-rockered tail. Either one will work for you.

just get b-dogs at this point

are you able to butter them because im trying to learn butters and cant seem to figure it out

No its impossible to butter one of the softest and most rocketed skis ever made

Ok I think the decision is pretty clearly in favor of the edollos now the question is 164 cm or 172 with me being 5'8 and 140 lbs (also I wouldn't mind some tips on how to butter

even if i alr have 171 on3p?

yes I strongly suggest getting longer skis especially since those are softer and Idk how they're gonna ride

but you won't tell the difference in weight and if anything they'd be easier to butter if they were longer

I’m 5’8” as well. I highly suggest the 180. Armadas are shorter so it’ll be more like a 177/178. With your ski boots on, it’ll be around your height, if not shorter. You will adjust and appreciate the stability of it. However, I would strongly suggest against any shorter than the 172. When you start getting too short, you get nimbleness and lightweight but you sacrifice stability a lot. Plus I think the 180 will be better for butters than the 172. I’ve found more ski is helpful for butters than too little ski. Ultimately it’s your decision but definitely not shorter than the 172. I have some 172 park skis and they feel really short compared to my 182 park skis now
