dumbass...why pay 50 bux for mounting? I think you got ripped the fuck off
Buying my fisrt pair of skis.

I'm happy to say that I've finally received my first pair of skis!
I did as most of you suggested and got the Scratch FS skis. I mounted the skis with Rossi Axial2 120 bindings at the suggested "modern" placement. As for the boots and poles, I didn't have much money to spend on them so I just bought myself the Rossi Exalt 6 boots and some Rossi Active 5000 poles. I spent approximately $480 for everything so I think I got a pretty good deal; not yet sure how they ride though. Will be riding these for the first time this weekend.
So, do you think I'll notice a big change from normal alpine skis? This will be the first time I ski with twin-tips!
