Buying cheap gear

hello mans,

Wondering if there are some good shops to buy real cheap ex-rental snowboarding gear that is good. Im coming over from england where the price new is double the price in america, so I was thinking you must be able to get ex-rental gear that is not too ropey for a super cheap price. Anyone Know whether this is the case or not?
