Like you said, you can do anything on a pc that you can on a mac.  It works vice versa too though.
Ya, the way Apple portrays their product is kind of dumb, but I like that my new mac seems really clean, there isn't excess shit on the keyboard or anything, it just seems nice, I mean I really like my mac, I've used my friends laptops ($1,000+) and I didn't like them as much as my mac. Maybe it comes down to personal preference. I mean, would you rather ski ARG's or Donner party's? personal preference right.
I like the keyboard and trackpad on my mac better than any PC I've ever used. I like the aluminum case. I like dashboard. I like being able to seperate all my windows with my trackpad. I like all the cool little shit that it comes with.
