We should be able to to buy things with karma, like still have the rating in are profile but also have it to spend like on name changes, higher uploads, maybe even stickers?
 
you guys dont realize ns wouldnt be ns without the hate and itd be really boring. so shut the hell up and be on your way.
 
I just hope that with this whole Karma thing the site doesnt lose its edge. that people still feel like they can critisize and make their point of view without worrieing about losing karma points.

Its part of what makes the site so (i hate to use the word but) "special".

and you're the type of person who needs to lose the hate and spread the love. How are insults interesting? If you've seen one "cool story hansel" you've seen them all.
 
yeah we all love skiing, but its pretty clear your new to this site. there are the chill people who accept what you have to say and maybe give some critiques and feedback, but there a big percent of 12 year olds who post shit to look tight, boost post count to seem official, and cut down on others for having different ideals/opinions.

we need to unite in terms of respect

and the karma for points is hype-deuce. people will start trying to just get points and not be themselves and thats whack
 
I don't even know what you're talking about but seriously there's absolutly no need for hate. We're all skiers, we're all here because we love skiing, why can't we just accept that and respect each other? Love is all we need
 
meh i dont really agree. then people could make other accounts, and give their self really high karma ratings to get free shit? nahhh
 
it would take a hundred aliases to effect the rating enough. as time goes on and the system gets loaded it will become virtually impossible to manipulate the system
 
This system sounds like the most safisticated karma system ive ever seen on a site. Most places just have certain members who can award karma and they all whore each other to get mega karma or whatever.
 
meh good point. you just never know what some people will go through to get free stuff though, but i believe you
