Buy or rent?!?!

i live in finland and am going out to the alps few times next year to ski powder. my question is should i buy some pow skis or rent some? i can get the cash but im not sure if itll be smart to buy skis that i would use maybe 2-3 times a year. so should i rent skis whenever i go on a trip or should i buy some?

oh and i already have my ar6 for park so the skis would be backcountry only.

after you rent skis for the 2nd or 3rd time, its better to just buy it...if your paying 150 bucks to rent skis everytime or more, eventually it will be just as much as buying a pair

no use in buying really nice skis that your going to use a few times. I say spend $300 and get yourself a pair of used powder skis.

word, solly guns are my favorite ski...there so versatile and you can charge on the groomers and go fast even though they are so soft and still hit jumps in the park, and obviously they kill it in the pow

yea get good all mountain big skis so u can shred everywhere

JP vs. Julien is an amazing ski for fresh snow...and super light and just sick.

And I happen to know where you can grab a pair for super, and I mean super, super cheap...if the guy still has them, PM me and I'll give you details, don't want someone sniping these if you need them.

thanks for the good replys everyone! the lizzies are a bit too short for me since im 6'1" so im looking for something over 180.
