i have a sony mz - 420 minidisc player that i got 1 year ago from circut city for 120 dollars. i have the usb cord the recording program 6 sets (30) minidiscs all filled with 6 albums each 30x6 = aprox. 180 albums . there is 3 minidiscs of grateful dead, 4 of classic rock like beatles, aerosmith, talking heads, tom petty, cars bob dylan i have 3 hip hop discs with gangstarr, wycleff , black sheep , etc etc................. anyways ill sell all of it for 100 dollars plus shipping. im obviously not selling the music because thats illegal, im selling the md player and u get my mini discs for free..... i dont have a pic but if u want to see it look it up on google.

Mini-Discs are so much better than iPods. The battery life is amazing. I never have to change it...1 AA battery lasts like forever. And the fact that you can change up disks instead of redundant playlists and touchwheels. You throw in the disc you want and your good for a few hours of music. And oh yeah....MUCH MUCH CHEAPER

I used minidisc for a few years, it's good, I just find the ipod more convenient for listening to a wide range of music.

Someone who doesn't have the money for ipod should definately get this.

does it have an optical input? i just want one to take samples off dvd's since i don't have a dvd player in my computer.
