Buy 7d or save for 5dm3?

I figured this is the place to ask so here it is, I'm wondering if its worth getting a 7d now or to wait a little more and save for the 5dm3, such a tough decision and I need some help

how if this such a tough choice? you clearly don't need either if you can't decide which you need

What will you be your primary use if it? Video or still? If you're shooting a lot of video I would say get a Panasonic GH3. But if you choose to stick to the Canons get a 7D and some nice glass.

7D is great, but it's old. Save for the MK3, incredible DSLR. The focusing ability of the 7D but full frame, you won't regret saving up for it. Just keep in mind the prices of lenses for FF's can be quite a bit.

No way. Red Epic X with a Panavision film camera connected to the hotshoe ftw.

but in all serious, the 7D is only better than something like a 60D or t3i in that it's slightly better for photography (though not really because all it adds is faster AF, weatherproofing, and burst shooting). Other than that, same exact sensor, so who cares. I'd stick with something cheap and easy on the crop sensor side of things.

Shit, I just recently 'DOWNGRADED' to a t2i from a 60D because having a 60D made zero sense to me over the t2i - so it was an easy 350$ cash grab that I'm putting towards glass. I'll probably keep this camera until it makes financial sense to buy a FF setup - which I will pretty much only go to because it's better for photos, and only if FF glass makes some sort of crazy quantum leap, or if the next FF setup from canon has something crazy like 1080/120p. in which case I'm still keeping my t2i.
