Buttery twin tips under 450usd

go into a shop and flex on em. a lot of line skis would be in your budget or some last years edollos if you can find them on sale perhaps.

basically vishnu wets and line honey badgers are your options unless you can buy a previous years model of something else. also a used skis

cant find vishnu skis anywhere am i missing something?

Surface giver, line blend, armada edollo, K2 Reckoner 102. Don’t buy line honey badgers. Shop used if you have to.

some people mentioned Vishnu. Another good option but if you suck at park they can be a handful.

im a big Icelantic fan but they’re expensive and the 2.2mm edge kinda sucks if you do crazy amounts of park skiing

Whats wrong with honey badgers in your opinion, I have been riding them for two years now and have loved them however I have started to think they have conditioned me to a way too flexible ski, making it harder for me to ski other skis

You’re right, I haven’t ridden surface but from talking to one of their reps and a guy that’s sponsored by them they said the royale skis a lil stiffer than a blend, again I haven’t skied them so idk for sure going off what I’ve been told. But the 2020 royale is 300 dollars new on their site and 2021 is 399 new on their site. So that’s an option

They've sold out for pre season, may have some more in the summer i believe.

wait are you saying they've already dropped the new year's skis and sold out? I thought they release in april

Not bad skis for really young beginners. But they’re not built to last. Cap construction sucks dick. They’re soft but they have no backbone. They just flex and give out. They snap pretty easily and they delam within minutes of touching snow. Just my opinion of them

Nah last years models is what I think he’s talking about (cabbage, bubbles, gems, etc) I’m not sure if vishnu has even dropped the new topsheets yet

Haha yea I feel you. I’d be shook if I missed the drop for next years v’s

They sometimes have a restock in summer of the same season, not sure whether this will happen.

I dont know if you want a park ski but the volkl revolt 87 is probably the most attractive park ski u can buy today. Volkl, (like head does with the fw and cddy) uses the same base on the revolt 87 that they use on their competition race skis. Its very fast and pretty almost half of this yrs slopestyle competitors were riding it, including goepper.

in my exp great park skis are great everywhere on the mountain, even in powder. In powder you kind of just slice through. The fundamentals of the ski let it perform well everywhere even though you wont really float in deep powder. But who cares. For pow they are still fun, even center mounted.

also park skis are usually built sturdy as possible to deal with rails, so if your not hitting rails your skis might last a really long time.

If you want a park ski that is great in pow the revolt 95 or k2 reckoner 102 might be better.

After riding a wider ski that didnt really do much in or out of the pow im done riding skis that arent proven by park skiers

wow i never had any experience with those companies

The revolt 87s are NOT going to be buttery. But the revolt 95 is under $450, has a “butter zone” and a relatively middle of the road flex. It can also ski light powder alright. It’s not a bad choice given the price

Dolan just recommended the Revolt 87 as a pow ski. Let's all let that sink in.

If youve never really had a ski on the softer side I would reccomend the honey badgers. If you have skied some softer skis and know pretty exactly what you want go for vishnu wet or wide

Vishnu’s are 420 usd and if you go on eco I’m pretty sure that the line blends are on sale for 400-450

This kid is a gaper troll. Volkls are the farthest thing from buttery you could imagine. I’ve skied them before. I actually skied revolt 87s. They sucked.
