Yeah at 5'8" I think the 171s. I'm 6' and I have the 178s, I would think they'd be a bit long for anybody shorter.

they're centermounted, 178 will ride so short i dont care how short you are

171 invaders, altho going anthems means u wont lose as much stability as its a wider platform

im 5'11 and the 178 feel short for me. the center mount is a big difference

Uh, 178 is kinda short for you. I'm 5'7 riding 171's (moderate flex), and I'm really happy. With a center mount, especially on a ski as soft as the vaders, anything shorter than your height would have no stability.

171 or 178... your pick.
