Buttersticks 102/110

Probably gonna get a pair of 176 cm buttersticks in either 102 or 110. Mainly gonna be used for park with some all mountain. Still deciding on whether to go 102 or 110 for the buttersticks and which is better for 70 park 30 all mountain. Was originally gonna get customs but they're way too expensive so im wondering if the buttersticks are a better choice.

I'm pretty light for my height, 5'8 and 135 lbs so idk if the jeffrey's would be too stiff for me to butter on.

I am purely a park skier and I ski Jeffrey 102s as dedicated park skis and I honestly would not recommend as they feel extremely unresponsive and feel gross when u do swaps. Why not look into a ski like poachers?

i live in the midwest and basically only ski park midwest, but i do head out west a ton

Definitely wouldn’t get Jeffrey’s then, I’d recommend poachers but if u really wanna go On3p I’d go mango 90

i would but on3p is out of 176 mango 90's and customs are a bit too pricy so was just deciding between 110 and 102. Wondering how easy it is to butter on a jeffrey and how stiff they are. and wondering how easy it is to throw the 102/110's

I’m fairly heavy (180 lbs) and I have a hard time buttering them unless I’m going fast. Id say just get a different ski until next season when On3p restocks but the Jeffrey is probably not quite the ski ur looking for

ah okay then may not get the jeffries. might just wait for mangos to restock.

Id actually get mango 90 171 if I were u. On3p tends to run pretty big and it would actually be more like a 176 or so if u really want

I have the jeffery 108s and use them as a "pow" ski. that being said I have skied them in the park a few days. I'll agree on whats been said above. the 110 would be tough to use as an everyday park ski. It takes so much effort to spin on rails and basically everything else. 102s might be better. but the poacher (skied it myself) would be a much better ski overall. also half the price if you can find a deal.

a stiffer park ski that allows me to still butter but get really good pop out of the butter. used for basically all around park. i hit equal jumps n rails. more rails at home resort but more jumps when i’m out west.

Try the moment frankenski I was on on3p since 2011 and they took away the kartel 98 which is now the Jeffery 96 but honestly I have had filthy riches to the Jeffery 118 and tossed them aside an tried moment skis. I started with the frankenski and now am super intrigued by the wildcat 108. They are super lively of a ski. Talk to josie at moment she will hook you up

Nah this is not true, they run true to size. I just got my Butterstick 110s mounted and they were 176.4cm per the bootfitter's tape. 171 would be okay because op is light but otherwise I'd highly recommend 176.

OP, 110 is definitely not the move for you in the midwest. 102 would be okay, but I do think the mango 90 or 100 is what you're looking for. I wouldn't call either super stiff, but they're not noodles. Jeffreys are fairly easy to butter due to the rocker and soft tips, but mangos are way easier. They're not as great for rail tricks but can be pretty nice on jumps. They can charge through whatever choppy snow, grass, rocks, you want, but don't grip ice all that well. Mangos can't charge and absorb as hard but seem better at turning.

ohhh okay okay got it. yea there isn’t any mango at 176 and only the jeffries have 176 options atm. i might just go buttersticks 102 or shell out the extra cash for customs.
