There's alot of confusion surrounding the butter issue, just to clear things up i've consulted jussi and come up with a few facts.

Manuals and butters are not the same. A manual is when you lean on tips or tails and hold it or spin. This does not constitute a butter on its own.....

Butters are only truly dairy product IF they are performed before another trick. In order to get full-fatness the rotation on the butter must still be set once the second trick begins.

A butter doesent have to begin with a manual. A revert on the hit is still a butter as long as the rotation is still going as the second trick begins.

turning 180 degrees ten feet before you hit a kicker is not butter - its just gay.

Some real butter examples - Jussi oskannen in Afterbang on numerous occassions. Tanner Hall butter cliff-drop in Happy Dayz. Laim Downey has a pretty sweet simple switch butter railslide on this site which is a good example. Candide in RFA hucked butter 540.

Im sure many will disagree, but remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and im damm pretty.

tanner hall didnt butter of that cliff in happy dayz. He were going switch and turned so that the could manual on the tails and therefore spin out of the cliff

Capurnicus' wasn't supposed to be a butter, it says a margarine. Everyone know margarine is different than butter. Get a better example.

 
Turpin never came off his tails or stopped rotating though... he seemed to slow down a little bit, but he didn't just turn around, so yea, nice.
