Butters and boot flex

If my skis already have pretty decent flex does boot stiffness really play that large of a role in initiating butters?

ye kinda, a stiffer boot is gonna get engaged and react earlier than a softer boot. also when your actually buttering you’ll have more support n control with a harder flexing boot

I like my boots real stiff. Skis feel more responsive overall. For buttering I feel like there can be a balance cause I like to get a decent amount of foreword lean but I like to be able to have a neutral skiing stance sometimes so it needs to be just soft enough to flex to where I wanna be in a butter.

stiff boots and buttery skis are the definition of SHIN BANG!!!!!...

a freestyle ski setup should match in flex....

the only problem is, DIN settings works ONLY with fixed boots.... are you getting what im putting down?

standardized ski industry has prevented freestyle in every way...

A Proper freestyle ski setup would involve a suspended flexing boots/binding system, that matches the flex of said skis...

everything we jib on, is race specific gear.

ROFL

BTW< IM A GENIUS, EXPONENTIALLY SMARTER THAN ANYONE YOU KNOW.
