Butternut 10-11 season

yeah ik, hoping its true tho, they had so many rails last year they didnt have room to put them all in the park, and now that they have even more this year itd be sick to have a longer park run.

yeah the triple basically already is the park chair, but moving the park up more would just further solidify it as the official park chair

If they put some rails or something on uptown that would be sick. Hit those 3 rails cross over cross town, enter the regular park very similar to last years just with bigger and better jumps at the bottom and maybe not as much urban.

yeah yo i remember when the park was on cruiser when i was little. shit was off the chain. but then again... i was like 14.

that'd be so amazing, they should stack uptown with rails, only thing i don't like about that is having to hike the begginging of uptown. gonna have to work on that leg strength!

I'm thinking I'll be heading down there on some midweek days when I don't have classes

Nice to see people are saying good things about it on here

sweet

they have cheap midweek lift passes too, and i have no classes on fridays!

i guess every friday ill be there!

Butternut started 2 nights ago and they are definitely making tonight and potentially snow two nights of this week and all nights with temps under 25. HMMMM I think were shredding the NUT this saturday.

But the question is, will their park be up? I can't remember the last time they had a park on opening day

They've been blowing all week and we've gotten like 3 inches so there is going to be 7 trails open. However, they arent blowing on the park trail untill thursday so they are estimating an open park maybe saturday and most likely sunday.

yeah for sure. i like that they were trying to be original. not all of it was very well executed but at least they tried and I hope they get the hang of it.

from their website:

3 features including:

Twist:

10ft T corrugated,

10ft x10ft woods wall,

12ft box /rail ledge combo,

¼ pipe / butter box to down rail

C-box

Rainbow box

2" x 6" down bar

West Way:

30ft jump

15ft jump

25ft jump

can anyone confirm these features are actually in the park? if so those jumps sound awesome

yeah the first jump was prettly close to 30 but the second was around 10 feet, and the third was around 15

Powder day bump! tuesday is gonna be a great day sunny, warmer, with a foot and a half of snow from sunday/monday

I had fun today. First time at Butternut, so I didn't know where anything was. I just lapped the stash under the quad, and then switched to the pow off the side of the park.

And, I can officially say I got a legitimate face shot in MA. I'm content.
