Buttering

How do youu butter but frontwards. I can butter backwards and do a 180 thingy but when i try it on the front i always come out of my bindings and look like a prick.

....tighten up your bindings, when i do them foward i do it on my noses. then backwards i do it on the tails.

they would be m900 eps.ive had loads of problems with them like the din constantly needs tightening even though i was still coming out right after i tightened them. and the brakes kept not releasing so that caused me to go on a nice little treck down a mogul feild!

whats wrong with salomon bindings? they are the best bindings i have ever used, and i can only remember pre-releasing like 2 times in the 6 years i have had differnt ones, have you actually used them or did you just jump on everyone else who says they hate salomon?

sorry about bringing the thread to a different place

I've got salomon bindings and I have no problems with buttering... really though - all binding companies make 'good' bindings, some are better than others, but none of them actually suck.

the main problem I have with salomon is that they break easily... seams like something is always breaking. (from my experiences I personally like tyrolia bindings the best (the d9's were sweet for me).

as for nose buttering, you really gotta put your weight into it. I've use 176 mojo's with a center mount - they've got really soft nose's but I still gotta put a lot of effort into it to get a really good nose butter.

also with nose buttering i find it helps to carve into it very slightly and use that to apply edge pressure way up in the front

have you ever had any other worthy binding? i went from some shitty marker to a salamon and thought it was god. then i changed to looks and the saloman seemed like shit. the only upside to salomans are that they are light espscially the z10

yes. very far from light.

they are pissing me off.

i am investing in some looks verrry soon.

whenever i try a nose butter 180 or 360, and really get my tails up, the nose always catches an edge or something. any tips?

Salomon bindings have a way better retention then look/rossi. I have no idea what kind of bindings you guys ride, or what you did to them. But an s914 will hold alot better then the p14.
