So yesterday I went skiing in the backcountry with friends Cal, Channing, and Bryan. I had to skip school to do this so we called in and pretended to be my dad to excuse me.

Turns out they didnt buy it, and actually called my dad!

Is it curtains for Slandis?

no no no...I am in such a good mood because I got to ski and thats worth having an asain man yell at me.
 
yea i skipped two days of school last year to ski and when i got back my dad was so pissed off but my mom understood, my dad got over it in like a day, he told me that i had to make honor roll since i skipped, and i got like a 2.87, he never mentioned anything so it was pretty cool and definetely worth it.

my parents are cool with letting me skip school for pow days and stuff, I do good in school so they don't care that much if I skip a couple days here and there

 
I have mostly A's, the rest are B's. I don't know why he was so upset.

But he hasnt really said anything and he doesn't seem so angry anymore. Hoorah!
 
hahah may dad would have been a little mad then asked me how it was. 

I could see him saying "you just should have asked me, i would have gone out wiht you"
 
Also considering how successful you are at school and you're skiing/filming careers I think you're parents should let you have a day out on the tiles maybe once and a while.

my dad lets me skip on pow days and he skis with me.sometimes he even calls in sick to work when there a big dumb.I think he would understand if i skipped but my mom might get a little mad.
 
i will never understand how adults can get mad at their kids for doing something like that.  my mom gets pissed every time i skip school to ski, so does my dad, but once my mom leaves he congradulates me.

and i cant stop looking at that sloth picture, ive been just stairing at it for like 10 minuites now. its so cute!!!

And damn, suspension for skipping school once? Maybe they don't realise it, but I think that's helping your cause.
 
Believe it or not, Alaska is mostly old people and punk kids who don't ski or understand what its like to have a passion such as this.
 
Thats absolutely proposterous, I can't beleive you would get suspended for skipping a single day and lying about it. At my school you would get a detention and thats all.
 
for my senior year i will be allowed to excuse myself from classes, i think im going to have alot of i dont think ill ever going to school on a pow day ever again
