Hello newschoolers.

I have decided to start a company up witihn the ski industry, but i'm unsure as to what I should produce/sell. Could anyone share any ideas?

Bearing in mind hardware would be out of the question due to the large start-up costs needed.

Thanks.

the thing is if i had an idea i wouldnt be telling you, i'd be doing it. but i think we all need a core sock company. the industry has been lacking that

Thermal stuff, hoodies like Jiberish but ment to be more warm like a thermal (if that makes any sense). Sweatpants would be pretty sick too.

yea we def need steezy techical base layers and mid layers for the cold days and bc days where its stupid to risk it by wearing cotton stuff.... i wear the hi tech shit for baselayer just because it keeps me dry and comfy, but add some style to it and it would be pretty sick

theres a core company called eesa that does layering/clothing stuff. but i guess its marketed towards snowboarding, i guess skiing could use a similar company

I like the socks idea along with thermals. Like electric socks. But steezey electric socks. If you make thermal bottom layers, put in stirrups for the feet so that they don't slid up when putting on socks/pants/boots/etc..

I always wanted to start up the first dry slope in north america. people would drive across the country to ski in summer

ive been looking into that for the last few years. id love to but i think ill have to wait til after i graduate college. nobody will take me seriously when i ask them for 5 or 10 million bucks

my idea is pretty simple. hoodies. but with spray-on waterproofing so they are water resistant, and powder skirt/bum gloves. so basically a stylish piece of clothing that can also be worn skiing, and wouldn't cost much more than a normal hoodie.

someone may have done it already, and if they have, I'd like to know where I can get one. I know my friend got one from loki (snowboard company) that had fold-out mittens and a ninja mask. but it didn't have any design on it, it was just grey.

another idea is a crush-proof, padded box or pocket that could hold my ipod and/or peanutbutter sandwich. that could actually go along with the hoodie. and as someone mentioned before, a core crash-pad company would be good.

snap off ski straps so i dont fuck up my wrist again. they click in and out so u dont fuck up your risk and they arent broken forever. if you knowwhat i mean
