We're not idiots, we just hate Bush and all the ideals that he is a front for.

Yah, he's a fool and his entire staff is retarded.

It's all a ploy to keep the gas prices high. If we go to war we will be paying $2.50 a gallon or so. He and his family are major players in the oil industry. Clinton was keeping gas prices down just to piss off all the republicans that had big stakes in oil companies. We go to war we won't have the foreign(sp?) oil to help keep prices down. If we are forced to buy texas oil cause that's all we've got watch your wallets. Remember how the price of gas dropped when we had that little skermish in the Persian gulf. Just remeber my fellow working stiffs, Republicans gain power by collecting our money through higher prices of items we need thus putting us in our place, Democrates gain their power by giving us false hope by keeping items we need at a level where we can all buy them. Democrats are for the people, you just have to excuse the lack of morals. Repulicans are for the rich folks. All of the snobs I know are republicans or their parents are. This could also be a ploy to maintain Bush's popularity so we could have four more lovely years with him. He has lied to us before and not disclosed the full truth about a lot of things, which is lying in my book, so how can we believe the things he said last night. This is my opinion but it is backed by his blunderings, not to mention we voted him in, I think??? or did we??? Never underestimate the power of oil mongers.

this is somewhat off topic, but i feel like saying it. in my opinion, with the state of the world today, no matter what we do - we're fucked in some way. i know i am kind of cynical, but i'm not the type to sit and ponder the many negative aspects of life. the way i see it, we never know how shitty tomorrow might be, so we better make sure to have a goddamn good time today while we have the opportunity. that is all.

2.50 for a gallon IS THAT ALL.......

Come to engalnd and you will know what expensive petrol prices are.

(at its worst befor the farmers strike it was nearly £5 a gallon thats approx 6-7 us dollars)

ahh who cares gas is already 2.20 here

a little after we finished attacking afghanastan i got over the fact that bush isn't even supossed to be in office because he really did'nt win the election.........besides that.....because lets not talk about

bush is supporting death and destruction. Go get the book War on Iraq or something like that, its a thin book, and read it. Bush does'nt even have enough evidence to prove that Iraq has nuclear weapens.

bush is looking for war.. he's fighting a war just for the sake of showing the world whos the most powerful. and its fucking wrong. i've had enough with this shit.

well bush did win the election...he had more electoral votes even though gore had more ballets...and electoral votes are what counts

Supilot ya I know, Gore did concede as well. I'm just pissed we we're on the brink of another major eye sore in history, so I start spouting off at the mouth(or keyboard in this case). I was really against this whole administration coming in, I knew something like this was going to happen. All I can do is wait for the snow, cause I'm not a politian and I don't think I'm smart enough to be one.Virtue is a poor quality for a politian.

OK

BUSH is a mindless idiot! since he got into office, hes like, cut back on the allowance given to research important scientific projects, like, finding a cure for cancer. now hes started this stupid war bullshit because his rates are down and this is a way to boost them back up, his father became well-loved after winning the gulf war, and our economy sucks ass, no thanks to him, so this will be a distraction from that. also, notice how he is the only one in his family who has that southern accent...honestly...lets just pray Cheney doesnt get into office, cause if he does, our country is officially screwed.

-Skiing is like sex...when you're done all you want to do is fall asleep-

bush is obsessed with war. like really, he tries to relate everything with Iraq and tries to make every excuse he can to go out and kill people, its not good.

skiing is fun

funny story, sadaam's minister stated that sadaam would challenge bush to a duel and the vice presidents(there are 2) would challenge cheany. How great would that be, problem solved without a war.

vote kerry for 2006

itssad that a country would destroy lives to show the worldthat they are powerful. we know that the us is a powerful source FUCK half the world relies on it and its economy to keepthier own running strong. But your country is also letting bush get away with his decisions. (not like a few people could overpower him but a country could) think about it... your country is so filled with 'american pride' which is a good thing. but because of that. whatever bush says or does is mainly approved by your citizens or is just pushed aside and not faught against. YOU NEED TO STAND UP AS A COUNTRY and say look. what your doing is wrong. we dont like it. stop. as well i cant believe the Un is considering letting this war happen.. it is suposed to be a war on 'terrorism' but mainl i think he is fighting and planning this wat to be the one to say i ahve faught and planned this war. as well what about the terror the people who are in afgahnistan are feeling.. they dont live nice lives like us. our poverty comes no where near what they live through. mind u their country does have many supporters and haters towards the us and iknow the us wants to get rid of all its 'haters' dont they realize that many more in the world will hate them more for killing a country? Sometimes people just dont make sense to me

I got all ready for it, positioned my fingers and shit

Yeah its like Phrosty said bush has no control. Go read about the free masons for further information. Secondly who supplied the cash for bushes campain?? thats right texan oil companies. So what do you think this whole thing is about?? Freedom? Nuclear threat? Please man the u.s. has about 9000 nuclear warheads thats like double the amount of every other country put together. Don't even talk about freedom I shouldn't have to elaborate. Bush is simply helping his buddies run pipe lines. Go download the mr.lif song Home of the Brave for a verbalization

yea, i heard that about the duel. ha, now if you want to start a world war, that would be the way to do it.

but seroiusly now, if we kill sadam hussain it will start a world war. america is getting ourselves into so much rite now.

bush thinks war is the answer to everything.

also, bombin iraq will be bushes excuse to drill in iraq. because he will say that he does'nt want to buy iraqi oil anymore because we are at war, the only other solution would be to drill in alaska.

ahhhh clinton should have declared most of alaska a national park so bush could'nt drill. clinton should have pardoned mumia too.

theres a natural mystic flowing through the air if you listen carefully now you will hear. its the first trumpet calling. might as well be the last. many more will have to suffer many more will have to die dont ask me why. things are not the way they used to be.

i think the answer to our problems would be if Bush made amends with Sadam, even though that is highly unlikely...but like seriously, hes really only wanting to go to war because 10 years ago the Gulf War made everyone fall in love with Big Bush, and he wants his rates to be like that. aljelajweklaw its so frustrating, screw getting blown up by the sun, the idiot we call president is gonna get us killed cause sadam hussein is a crazed lunatic capable of a lot more than we think. Plus, we arent exactly on good terms with Bin Laden either, if those two got together againts us...not good.

-Skiing is like sex...when you're done all you want to do is fall asleep-

Bush doesn't want to make amends with sadaam. The whole reason this is going on is so that bush can end sadaam and 'stabilize' the country by putting in a pro american 'democratic' government , thus making oil cheaper.

The US will never solve the Middle East situation until it hasn't sorted out the situation with Isreal and Palestina. As the US is undiscriminately supporting Israel's regime while at the same time claiming it is fighting a war against evil it looses credibility and helps the propaganda machine of fundamentalists. If the US took a balanced stance and enforced peace between Palestina and Isreal (as Clinton tried) it could then do in Iraq whatever it wanted to. If it goes ahead in the present situation it will understandibly be regarded by the region as aggressive western imperialists and provoke massive fanatic reactions against which there is no protection. Lets hope this never happens...

Be Strong, Be Wrong.

duh, put simply, Iraq has reached the necessary critical mass of evils that makes it imperative for us to take Saddam down. The formula to apply is: hostile Islamic regimes that support religious fanaticism and terrorism, and possess weapons of mass destruction, cannot be allowed to continue.Surely Saddam Hussein’s Iraq meets those criteria.Forget about Iraqi links to 9/11. They may well exist, but are not directly relevant. Saddam has terrorist training bases under his control, including the infamous base where a jetliner sits, used to practice hijacking. It doesn’t matter whether the 9/11 attackers actually trained there. Future killers may have or will. The West has turned a blind eye to state sponsorship of terrorism in the Middle East for decades. Terrorists trained, funded, and controlled by hostile regimes like Iraq and Iran have killed dozens of Americans over the last 20 years, and we have let it pass. This lapse of moral courage led directly to the murder of another 2,800 Americans and others on 9/11. To continue to turn a blind eye to this evil would shame their memory and encourage future attacks.Saddam’s support of radical Islamism is also clear. He views himself as a historic leader of epic proportions, unifying the Arab states against the West. His invasion of Kuwait, had it been unopposed, would likely have been followed by seizure of Saudi oil fields, and more importantly seizure of the holiest sites of Islam. As the self-professed defender of the faith, Saddam would have been a threat to rival Hitler.Since 9/11, Western leaders have handled the issue of radical Islamism with kid gloves. Fearing inflaming the passions of the Arab street or offending potential Arab allies, our leaders have carefully tried to detach the War Against Terrorism from efforts to stem the flow of hateful, poisonous radical Islamism. But this political convenience disguises an ugly truth: radical Islamism makes for the worst potential foe the West has ever faced. In World War II, Hitler’s doctrine of racial superiority may not have been the motivation for his conquests, just as Islamic doctrine is really not the motivation for men like Saddam Hussein. Their real motivations were and are conquest and empire. But an ideology that makes it easy to de-humanize your enemies and justify barbarous crimes against them is extremely useful to tyrants. But radical Islam is potentially worse than Nazism, since it inspires religious fanaticism. If Westerners are devils and infidels, it is easy to murder them by the thousands. You are doing God’s work. This is where possession of weapons of mass destruction comes in. For 50 years, the West and their counterparts in the Communist world held back from use of such weapons, knowing that even a mostly successful attack would result in devastating retaliation. In such an attack, the country responsible would be clearly known and there would be no doubt that a counter attack was justified. But a small number of unknown terrorists, driven by suicidal fanaticism, could launch an attack in the U.S. and leave few clues. Who would we attack in response? How do we deter such monsters?Currently Iraq is the only nation that has reached this critical mass of evil. (Hostile, sponsors terrorism, possesses weapons of mass destruction) Syria, Iran, and Libya are hostile and sponsor terrorism, but don’t possess weapons of mass destruction. North Korea may possess such weapons, and is hostile, but has few documented links to terrorism. These nations can and should be handled with diplomacy or coercion. But a successful attack on Iraq and the removal of Saddam Hussein should greatly aid in convincing these other nations to reconsider their embrace of the evil of terrorism. If, against all logic, they continue to fund and direct covert terrorist attacks against us, then perhaps we move against them as well.Part of my embrace of an attack on Iraq is based on the well-justified faith I have in our armed forces. Plenty of armchair generals and pacifists in wolf’s clothing are making much of the dangers and difficulties of fighting Saddam. I think most of these worries are overstated. The threat of Saddam using his chemical or biological weapons in a last, desperate gambit is real. But I have no doubt whatsoever that our fighting men will take him down in the end.

So debate it if you like. But let’s be real about the threat and get serious about eliminating it.

Nice commentary but somewhat simplistic. I agree that I'd be nice to see Saddam off. But the instability in hte region right now is massive. Take Saudi Arabia or Pakistan. The leaders there are constantly on the brink of being ousted by radical fundamentalists. Whenever the US moves in ways that will be interpreted as anti-Islam this is fuel into the fire of these extremist fractions. Hence an attack on Iraq, while likely successful in beating Saddam, may destroy the delicate balance for the surrounding countries. Saudi Oil might come at the higher cost dealing with very enemy and Pakistan's nuclear bombs may end up in the hands of the extremists. Picture a nuclear war with India... This risk is not alarmist it is very very real. Would that be an improvement of the situation? Funny that you say that a blind eye was turned on nations supporting regimes. Are you aware that the US was supporting Irak in their war against Iran, by for example supplying them with materials used in chemical and biological weapons? In the cold war the US supported regimes so long as they were anti- communist in some way. Hence the US siding with the regime of South Vietnam. But leaving this aside I agree that Saddam has to go. But in order to be able to make that happen first Sharon has to go. Do you know that he was indicted by a Belgium war tribunal for mass-murder for his involvement in a massacre of Palestinians (in the 60ties or 70ties I think). Yet the US is supporting him. What do you think this looks like from the Middle Eastern point of view? Supporting an oppresive regime with western roots but condemming and attacking another oppressive regime that is Islamic? The situation is very messed up and a peace between Isreal and Palistine is imparative before any attack. And it won't happen w/o US support.

Be Strong, Be Wrong.
