There is no way Bush will win the election now that the reports came out proving there are and never were weapons on mass destruction in Iraq. And it doesnt help that he stated he thought they wanted weapons. I was in between on bush and kerry but now there is no way im voting for Bush. Think of the 1000+ men who died and only accomplished catching sadaam huessin and all the innocent Iraqis that died too. Bush is a fucking murderer.

Kerry may not win. it is hard to say becuase the polls are not accurate for a number of reasons. first of all, the polls only show likley voters. that is someone who has voted in the past 3 elections. alot of young people will be voting this election and i suspect that most of them will vote for Kerry. Also, alot of people who have never voted before will vote bacause they dont like what we have done in Iraq and so on. they will mostlikley vote for kerry. another reason is that you can get 2 different polls in one day and they will say 2 different things. also, the polls change alot. they could change from now untill the election. that being said, in most of the recent polls, Bush is ahead, and i am expecting him to win.

Did all of the senators, including Kerry, have access to the same inteligence that bush was acting on. And if they did, Kerry would have known that there was not a 100 percent chance of WMDs present in Iraq. But Kerry still voted to go to war. I guess Kerry thinks that the mere possibility of WMDs was reason to go to war, just like Bush.

there is about as much of a chance that the draft will be brought back as there is i will grow a third nut. The only people who brought up the draft were democrats in the senate who were trying to cause trouble. Theres no way they could bring on a draft right now. there would be way too much resistance. no one wants to bring back the draft, especially since there are enough soldiers there.

Jarjar heres a quick lesson in economics/government. The 'government' makes it's money by....... You guessed it TAXES!!! thats how we pay for like umm things n stuff. Money just doesnt magically appear. We have been in large debt in the past and we have got out of it. We will again. Although we cannot keep funding this 'War on terror' unless we start raising taxes in some form or another. you can't have your cake and eat it too.

You are really dwelling on the $2.50 a gallon thing. I know where your coming from being a gas sucking jeep driver myself, but it's not that bad. Be gratefull that you dont have to deal with gas rations like in the 80's. That would suck. I parked my jeep and now drive a Hyundai Tiburon which gets around 28mpg if i'm not piss pounding it. Stop the bitching and be frickin gratefull you have the freedoms you do.

 
If you raise taxes, people have less to spend so they save it instead of spending it and boosting the economy they save it up. Because of the lack of spending and the weaker economy jobs are cut. Now people are requesting aid from the government. Government doesn't have the money, so they raise taxes again, Cycle starts over. Thats why you cant raise taxes much. Lower taxes can boost the economy.

 
I do agree that we need to stop fronting all the bill for this war though. I do pay a lot of taxes, i would rather pay more taxes and have a national health coverage plan then fund a civil war in Iraq

To my knowledge, most of the production plants (refineries, pumps, etc.) were somehow fucked up and are in the process of being fixed. Some of them were torched at the start of the war i believe. Takes awhile to get that stuff back up and running.

NO!!! htat is wrong. Kerry voted to authorize Bush to decide when force was needed. it is not like he voted on wether or not to start bombing Iraq that instant or whatever. as a senitor, Kerry has to trust that the President will the what is rational at the time. it is the only way the goverment could ever get anything done

Alright, the war on iraq is not just on WMD's. If there is no connection to al queda, then why did they bomb madrid, spain to influence their elections, and then tell them to pull out of Iraq? Enough WMD's have been found in Iraq to kill 1/2 a million people. Even if there weren't MWD's, saddam would have produced them anyways, and soon. In reality, saddam WAS a terrorist. He killed hundreds of thousands of his own people in many horrible ways, such as putting people in wood chippers, plastic shedders, throwing people off buildings to see them bounce, and killing Olympic athletes because they didn’t win gold metals.

Allies: Why the hell do we need allies? Sure they may help with the cost of the war, but we are not the world’s lap dog. We don’t need to have approval from other countries to go to war. We will do what is needed FOR US, not FRANCE, or GERMANY. Even after some 17 UN resolutions, they had yet to approve going into Iraq, I pretty sure as hell can tell you they wouldn’t have approved it on number 18.

The Draft: We will not need a draft, nor more soldiers in Iraq. More Iraqi citizens are fighting alongside US soldiers each day, they are being trained and will eventually not even need our support. As of now, Iraqi and ally soldiers have shared 50% of the casualties. And those 1,000 casualties are of the many people securing your freedom.

Oil: Things like this will take time. We will eventually have many benefits from freeing Iraq, and we will get things like, um…OIL! OPEC will try to kiss our asses and get oil from us, our prices will go down, and you will be happy, hopefully, but you will probably find something to complain about it anyways.

As for the election, Bush will will republicn state gained electoral votes, democratic startes have lost them. People ill see who Kerry really is if he is asked the right questions tomorrow night. Once they see who Kerry is, they will not vote for him unless they are stupid.

If you think the war is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad, why don’t we just release saddam. Let’s get Bush to give you the key to his jail cell, and you can open it up for him, so that he can go back to his country to kill, rape, and torture his people.
