Whats even worse than Nader running is he is doing because he feels democrats should not be in office, which shows he is purposly running to take votes from the democracts. But what I don't understand is wouldn't he want the lesser of the two evils to be in office, an d I would much rather have kerry in office than bush. I don't know much about kerry but all of bush's putting bands of abortions and all that is fucked up and can't happen.

 
has no one been following the kerry campaign? the man cant answer a question about weather or not he owns a chevy suburban straight. a man that wont own up to the fact that he owns a suburban because he is afraid that it will tarnish his image with the environmentalists is a man who will fold under pressure when it comes time to make any desicion. i would rather loose my left foor than see kerry in office. at least you know what youre getting with bush. at least the man has principles and doesnt flip flop (lie) about mundane details that really dont matter. what is going to happen when he has to own up to the big desicions? hes a clown. end of story. bush is far and away a better leader, and a better choice.

whoever wins the election isn't going to be a great president and despite what everyone says, Bush isnt responsible all the economic problems. The economic recession began 3 months after Bush was inducted as president and before he had made any economic changes. Therefor, Bush inhereted the recesion from the prior administration. Also, no matter who the president is, minus nader, there will be a draft withing the next year or two if the war in Iraq continues the way it is. The army is not recieveing enough troups to support the war effort and within a year our cuurent supply of troops will be exausted and we will need replacements. No matter who the president, Bush or Kerry, democratic or republican, we are going to be in trouble.

 
Well, I'll weigh in on this, I AM a Marine right? You might all see me as some leftist baby killer, although the biggest thing I've ever killed was a mouse once. It's pretty much set in stone as to who our 2 choices will be for pres. So it's going to be the choice of the lesser of the 2 evils, a Dem who obviously can't speak freely without having to dance around the topic before making a non-answer. That kind of stuff makes a bad leader cause there's no linearity to him. And Bush, he's dumb granted, but the man isn't afraid to get things done. The situation in Iraq is nothing to be afraid of, i.e. a draft is something that's always there. But just because the word is mentioned doesn't mean it's a sure thing. The fact is the operations in Iraq are aimed towards a long term stabilization of the country, and that will happen. Don't let the news media get you all antsy in your pantsy over things ok?

 
I am not a huge Kerry fan. But all of the people who back Bush and criticize Kerry's public speaking abilities are being hypocritical. Did you see Bush's press conference a few weeks ago? When asked whether he had made any mistakes since he became president he stuttered for a while and then said he couldn't think of anything. When asked why he was testifying with Cheney in the 911 hearings he said something like, because they want to ask questions and we want to answer them. The media member who had asked the question asked it again clarifying that his question was why they were testifying together rather than apart. Bush then said the same exact response. He never answered the question. He is a bozo and makes an 8th grader in model UN look good.

 
the lesser of two evils is how i approached the last election, but i think this could shape up to be something more along the lines of whoever fucks up the least during the next 7 months.

the point about kerry lying about the insipid details of his life is that he has absolutly no spine. the only thing that has come out of his campaign is 'i served in nam, bush national guard, cheny not in millitary' we arnt sure if bush outright lyied or if he told the truth as it related to the info he had. im sure you know about the lapse in the efficiency of american intellegence (thanks to one sentator toracelli, a democrat, under the clinton watch) bush actually has morals, and resolve. things on the domestic front are looking up, leaving iraq as the only question mark in this presidency. granted, that is one big question mark, but we will see how that all pans out come november. as for kerry, if he were in charge, saddam would still be in power, the taliban would still be running the show in afganistan, and we would be wasting our time with a corrupt UN who would have rather protected their little oil for food racket than depose two dangerous regimes. bottom line is that bush gets things done. kerry has big plans, but they are illogical. tell me if you know more than i, but as i have heard about all the benifits that kerry has promised so far (social security, education etc) he has only offered one source to fund them all, namely repealing the bush tax cuts. the figures that i have heard in relation to this is that the tax repeals will generate about 55 bil. in immidiate revenue. all of the campaign promises that kerry has made thus far would come to over 200 bil. he has no idea where this money will come from. magic perhaps? he is full of empty promises, and all he can say is 'i served in vietnam' good. great. but not so great when it is followed by 'i actually did vote for the 87 billion dollars, before i voted against it' and was it your medals or you ribbons that you trashed in 71? cause you have said that it was both... or was it someone elses medals? someone elses ribbons? make up your mind buddy! look here, no sane person can seriously say 'kerry will make a better president' no way. its not rational. the only people that will vote that way are the people whos minds are so one-track, that they would vote for my pet dauchsund if she were running, just so long as it gets bush out of office. come on folks. lets not be rediculous.

So the president lied so we could kill Iraqi civilians... OK, well if by civilian you mean gun toting Arab shooting at me from close range, dressed in civilian clothes, well then, that's a true statement. But I was over there, many of those people shooting at us were dressed in civilian clothes, but most, or all of them were associated with the military and Saddam's regiem. More recently the insurgent force in country isn't a military at all, so they don't have uniforms. And it's wierd that they'd be the ones responsible for most of the current fatalities among the Iraqi population... So what was that again?

 
I can totally believe that most of the people we were fighting were in the iraqi army. Doubtless, though, quite a few civilians were harmed. But that wasn't my point.

My point was that we have yet to form anything but an extremely tenuous link between Iraq and any kind of attack on American soil. So what gives us any right to just walk in there and start killing people?

look at the iraq situation. Who's profiting? Haliburton and some other big businesses. When haliburton overcharged the government, the gov. looked the other way until it was brought up by outsiders.

how about no child left behind? not only will it destroy education, it's not funded at all. Also, the compnay making all the HUGE profits is Mcgraw hill. Happens to be owned by an old friend of teh bush family.

I hate bush. That is something I won't hide. I think he is without a doubt the worst president since nison (who wasn't too bad apart from the single scandal). Bush will ruin our country.

Look at England a few centuries back when they did all the stuff we're doing. They tried to 'take over the world' they failed miserably and it ruined them. If you know much about history, you'll see the similarities between the USA of now and the England of then. it sure as helll scares me.

Ya, bush is an idiot, even though i don't like kerry i think that he would deffinitley be much better than bush. Bush wouldn't sign the kioto treaty which was to reduce polution, then after bush didn't sign, russia backed out, so the kioto treaty didn't go through cause of bush being a sanchez.

hello. kyoto was the biggest sham that was ever proposed. and it was clinton that didnt sign it. (thank goodness) if you want to cry about jobs being outsourced now, just understand that it would have been 2097235 times worse if we had gone through with the kyoto agreement. it would have imposed limits on industriralized nations, while giving a pass to developing nations, like china and india. that would have allowed some of the worlds worst polluters to continue to pollute, and would have provided them with the means to steal jobs with greater ease than they currently do.
