Anybody here ever skied a stash? Are all the wood rail features basically only 50-50able?

be intrigued to know this as well. wood rails dont usually agree with skiers

yes I have, fun as shit. You can do more than 50-50 for sure, slides a little slow though.

the one at northstar is basically only snowboardable. hard to boardslide, so i'd imagine not much better for skiers

are the wood features just cut wood, or do they have any type of laminate surface over the exposed wood?

yea at stratton they put a bent birch tree like a rainbow in the woods and i hit it and it was not so good

There is one in Avoriaz 1800 in France. I first hit it while riding DH MTB in summer (they left many of the features out), and went back to ski it 4 months later because the features were big and technical. However the wood, and especially wet wood is not fun for skiers. Some of the wall rides, taps, and the faster features are okay, but the rails etc not so much.
