Burton pants and jackets? yay or nay

IMO you shouldn't rep Burton unless you are a boarder. There are far too many high end non-Burton companies that make great outerwear.
 
its not like its weird to wear a burton jacket and pants if u like to ski. it s a jacket man it doesnt matter. i personally wouldnt cuz i like to support ski companies, but if u like the jacket buy it bro and dont be self conscious in life it will only slow u down and make u unhappy

Don't see an issue with it. I own a burton [ak] jacket, and it is bombproof. Gore tex pro shells are awesome, and not all the core companies in skiing are making those.
 
Honestly they make good outerwear and their stuff is decent BUT, assuming you are a skier, i would recommend you to buy from a company that encourages our sport. But thats just my opinion tough
 
I wore Burton pants all last year, no one's going to come up to you and say,

"Aw dude, why the f* are you a skier wearing Burton?"

Don't worry about the label, just wear the gear you want.
 
Wear whatever the fuck you want. Nobody has the right to tell you that you can't own something made by a snowboarding company. I have a Saga jacket and special blend pants, I guess I broke the rules, I probably shouldn't be allowed to ski anymore.
 
It doesn't really matter, but Burtons pulled some shit towards the ski industry in the last few years. Its just better to stick with gear thats made by a company that supports skiing.

If you support putting funds towards sick skiers, and seeing more of that than boarding, then nah. But its just some clothes...
 
i work in a shop who sells mad burton Im not really a supporter but i have burton AK pants from four years ago that I wear more than any other pant I own... if u like it wear it...thats all that matters

Idk, We kinda make fun of this snowboarder who rides my home mt and wears the old Red and White Simon Dumont coat, yell like, OMG ITS SIMON DUMONT!!!!! And i kinda think lesser of a snowboarder who rocks Saga, but like, do what you want man.
 
This is WAAAAAYYYYYYY too funny because we used to yell the Simon Dumont thing at this guy that skiied at Mammoth and he would get so pissed off when it happened.

im running burton pants this year fit perfect made well if you get hated on it's gunna be by 8 to 28 year olds who snowboard 4 times a year and still think snowbaorders and skiers hate each other
 
THIS GUY CAME INTO THE SHOP WHEN I WAS WORKING ON THE MOUNTAIN (MAMMOTH) DECKED OUT IN HIS GEAR! He gave me the dirtiest look when I was like, "oh hey, nice gear. Thought you were Dumont for a second." He snowboarded ya?
 
I say yay. Burton stuff is legit as hell. Fuck the haters. I have a pair of Burton pants that I've had for 4 years that are in better condition than my Saga pants I got last year.
 
its cool if you want to spend your money on a company that shits on skiing every chance it gets.

burton shit is pretty wack anyways. if you want to look like a snowboarder at least wear a legit brand like rome, holden or L1.
 
It gets pretty old seeing skiers supporting snowboarding. All Burton has ever done has made fun of skiing! If you go on snowboard message boards I bet they aren't talking about buying ski gear.
