Burton makes some pretty good outerwear but support our sport instead and buy within

agreed, ski companies have teams, support comps and ski movies. progressing the sport, think all yoru money is going somewhere, so would you rather make Millionaires richer or support a ski company that will redirect thier money back into skiing

yea price is definitely a factor...i love supporting ski brands and stuff but usually i dont have the money for the outerwear so i usually just go for softgoods

hahahaha ok there buddy. Contradict yourself much?

As much i want to support ski oriented outerwehere companies, when it comes down to it, it's what i can get the cheapest.

and currently that is my planet earth set up.

If you get to know(and impress) a local ski shop owner they will usually give you a discount, my shop gave me 45% off a Helly Hansen Covergant jacket and 30% off pants making it much cheeper

well then he wouldn't "NEVER" buy siver would he?

cause he did

shizam!

I agree that ski company support is needed. Siver is not the only ski brand, helly hanson, spyders CR setup, Oakley, there are lots of other options as well. I WILL NEVER BUY BURTON. not just because they are a boarding company and not a ski company, but because ALL the poseurs that think they are core boarders wear burton

Siver - Overpriced ski fashion (without function)

Orage - Expensive (but really good)

DNA - Expensive (but really good)

Burton - Good Quality and Reasonably Priced

Quiksilver - Good Quality and Reasonably priced. (Candid wears it, good enough for me)

I guess I'm not "core" enough to spend $500 on a pair of pants and jacket. Sorry, with the money I save I can buy books for the spring semester. I wish I could afford to support stuff like DNA and orage but I just don't have the cash.
