i emailed burton a few times and got replies from all different people just to make sure. Burton will not be making skis anytime in the near future is what they said.

HAha so the entire 5 page thread and all that discussion was based on rumers?

also i'd like to see some proff aswell

although its harder to prove somethings not happening compared to if somehting is happening. (I cant prove your not going to die tommorow....)

steezy where the fuck are you in school..and did you do ski club cause i saw 2 other skiers in our school including my brother

a few years ago grenade said they werent going to sponsor skiers, next season skiers are riding for them...they aren't going to leak a move that big in an email.

even if burton was making skis. why on earth do you think they would tell you. companies tend to keep things like that secret. im not saying that they are making skis or anything like that but if they were there is no reason they would say yes this early or tell you. the snowschool director has an in big time at burton, he works as a product designer and stuff for them and has been riding for them since 1990, and he hides the catologues and any product info from everyone when he gets it untill hes alloud ot release it.

Are you sure? I did the same thing and got this reply:

Strange, I guess we will just have to keep guessing.

umm i work on r&d for burton, I can tell you 100% that burton is making skis.

However, when i say burton, i mean that in all actuallity, line is making burtons skis, this is may sound wierd cause line is now owned by K2.

They decided they wanted to have tri axial braids like k2, but have somehting that line has patented, actuall exact twin tips. So what they did was buy K2 from thier parent company, and then were able to get rid of ride etc (who is owned by k2) so to sum up, make good skis from a proven factory, throw out some competition, and get into a market they've been dieing to get into since their ski bashing ads of a few years ago.

You should see some of the topsheets.

therell be a fat twin thats basically the lissie in a 176.5 (awesome size hey?) no name as of yet.

and a park all mountain twin for the first year in 4 different sizes called the juss moose. and be about 99 underfoot. Guess who helped design it.

dumont, the super mario brothers and pep will be on the team in 07/08.

fiddle faddle said it, it must be true.

I heard that they are making porno's i e-mailed them..

I was like noo waiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!

Why the fuck would they make skis in the first place? I don't think they will ever make skis because their a snowboarding company.

ski companies make snowboards... it os only a matter of time! lib tech jumped on the bandwagon... more are sure to follow!

It seems weird that such a successful ski company like K2 would be bought out by Burton - I seriously doubt it would be replaced by Burton skis...

hey you liar! If Line patented "true twin tip," how come Fischer makes a symmetrical ski too?

hey liar, what do you mean by "exact twin tip?" Either you mean same height tip and tail or symmetrical. Either way you are a lying sack of shite because neither is patented by Line as Fischer makes a symmetrical ski and a million companies make same height tip and tail.

hahaha, alright, this is kind of funny. Right now I'm waiting for someone to actually post a picture of their skis with a ruler held up next to it.

what's not the same? the height? the width? Neither is patented by Line. Any way you slice it you are a lying sack of shite.
